Verse Of The Day: He, that being often reproved hardens his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. Proverbs 29:1

THOUGHT OF THE DAY : Where positive and necessary change is impossible ruin will be possible.

LISTEN: “Change or be ruined.” was a mother’s advice to her rebellious son, after countless warnings. My dear, it is disastrous to go against God. Yes, it is quite unsafe to do without Him. To do without God is to head for doom. Man has the natural tendency to want to live without God. Such unreasonable choice leads to hardening of one’s heart against God and his word. Friend, don’t harden your heart to God’s word, rather open your heart to Him. Never forget that he who hardens his heart to God has chosen the path of destruction. Disobedience to God is a choice to eternal destruction and death. When your heart is hardened towards God, destruction will be inevitable (Proverbs 29:1). My dear, you can’t live independent of God. God is pleading with you today to open your heart to Him and escape His wrath. So, don’t take His leniency for granted. Just acknowledge that He doesn’t want you to perish, but to be saved. Hence, the choice to be saved lies with you. God has shown us in His words how to live. Therefore, if you live outside His will, it is just because you choose to do so to your own hurt. The Bible says,“Will the LORD accept a thousand rams, or ten thousand streams of olive oil? Should I give him my firstborn child as payment for my rebellion, my offspring – my own flesh and blood – for my sin? He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the LORD really wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your God.” (Micah 6:7-8). Henceforth, don’t harden your heart to God; rather be opened to His words. You will experience His blessings when you love and honour Him. So, open your heart to Him today. Be wise!
