Verse Of The Day: For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

THOUGHT OF THE DAY : Where the gospel of Christ Jesus is deemed as foolishness death is inevitable.

LISTEN: The best of this life cannot compare to the ‘worst of heaven.’ What the gospel offers is real life, even life eternal, full of bliss and free from evil and sorrow. However, to enjoy this life you must be saved – accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life. My dear, are you saved? Do you know you are lost without Jesus Christ. People are saved or lost by their own choices (Deuteronomy 30:19). Yes, anyone who does not make the choice to be saved will forever be lost (John 3:18). To be lost is to live in sin, and refusing to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. It is to reject and despise the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ on the cross: to remain an enemy of God and be condemned forever. Beloved, we all have equal opportunity to be saved through Jesus by faith. Therefore, to continue to reject Him and His gospel is to choose to perish forever. The gospel has power to bring you back to God and give you a future. Sadly, a lot of people are still spiritually blind. Satan has turned them away from God. This is why our Bible verse of the day says “For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God.” (1Corinthians 1:18). My dear, do you take the gospel of Jesus Christ as foolishness? Do you think that, all who rejected and despised the gospel will not be punished? Beloved, accept the gospel of Christ Jesus today. Hurry now for time is running out! The more time you waste the closer you are to hell. Remember, he who rejects the gospel of eternal life will surely partake of eternal death. For where the gospel of Christ Jesus is deemed as foolishness death is inevitable.Be wise!

Bible Verse : And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Job 28 : 28

LISTEN : The fear of God is the real mark of wisdom. When you fear and honour God He releases Himself into your life. God loves us and wants us to love Him in return; and there is no better way to appreciate Him than to fear, obey, worship, honour and love Him. Sadly, people tend to fear men more than God. The fear of God is fast disappearing from the hearts of men today. Beloved, where is the fear of God in your heart? If God is your creator, where is His honour? God’s problem with the Israelites was their lack of fear and honour for Him. They were ready to fear men, than fear God. Beloved, do you know that human wisdom is measured by the fear of God? (Job 29:29 ; Pro 9:10). Anyone who lacks the fear of God is empty of real life. Beloved, always examine your fear for God. How much fear and love do you have for God? Are you putting His interest above yours? Or yours above His? Joseph, though, a slave boy in Potiphar’s house in Egypt, yet, demonstrated the fear of God when his master’s wife asked to sleep with him. He clearly refused and said, “…how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” (Gen 39:9). Beloved, determine to honour and fear God always. Without the fear of God in you, you have no life. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father! Help me to fear, honour and love You for the rest of my life, amen.
