Verse Of The Day : Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. Proverbs 4:26
Thought of The Day : It is not possible to fall into a pit if you’re wise and watchful!
LISTEN : Those who tread with caution put caution on their actions. They watch their steps as they go. Beloved, do you watch your steps? If you don’t, just know that Satan is busy watching your steps. His desire is to spring up a surprise attack on you. The Bible says,
“Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
1 Peter 5:8
Satan is out to ambush the unguarded. So, watch your steps lest you fall into his trap. My dear, no one can be established by recklessness or unrighteousness. The way of unrighteousness is shame, destruction, etc., but the path of righteousness is peace, promotion, life and the like (Proverbs 14:34). The wise would watch before they leap. They think before they act. They ask questions before they draw up conclusions. They hear matters before they pass their verdicts. They are direct opposite of fools, who have nothing to do with wisdom or ponder the path they are taking (Proverbs 23:9 ; 27:12). My dear, ponder the path of your feet. To ponder is to think about something carefully, especially before making a decision or reaching a conclusion. Sadly, lots of people don’t care about their actions. They don’t think through their planned actions to avert disaster or regret. Beloved, if you’re careful about the path you take, you can’t be swallowed by evil on the way. Surely, you can’t end up with heartbreak if you first ‘break your head’ thinking through a complex matter before taking decisions. Yes, it is not possible to fall into a pit if you’re wise and watchful. The truth is, he or she who chooses not to watch his or her steps has chosen the path of failure and irredeemable miseries. Friend, watch the path you take and you’ll live very secured; be reckless and you’ll be consumed by disasters. Be wise!
What Should We Do With This Message?
1. Don’t be unwise, rather watch before you leap.
2. Examine your life regularly and make necessary changes.
3. Make room for the Spirit of God and listen to His leading without resistance.
4. Lean on God and obey His voice of counsel and warning.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to consider the path I take, and be delivered from evil. In Jesus’ name, amen.
A Word Of Blessing : Today, I speak wisdom on your life. Receive the grace to tread the path of righteousness, peace and victory. In Jesus’ name, amen.
