Verse Of The Day : Hatred stirs up strife: but love covers multitude of sin. Proverbs 10:12

Thought of The Day : When love consumes our hearts, hate and violence can’t rule and ruin our society.

LISTEN : It’s difficult to love others when you lack the fear of God. Love is God’s command to us. However, some people are unlovable and habitually ungrateful. It takes the fear of God and obedience to His word to love such people. Love is of God and we should give it a chance. Our societies suffer constant quarrels, violence and fighting one another for lack of love. When love consumes our hearts, hate and violence can’t rule and ruin our society. The Bible says,

And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover the multitude of sins.

1Peter 4:8

Love covers multitude of sins. Hate kills but love heals. Hate produces unforgiveness, but love gives unconditional forgiveness. Where hate rules, people find it pleasant to fight, but difficult to forgive one another. My dear, forgive because you’ll need forgiveness at some point in your life. If you find it impossible to forgive others, God will find it impossible to forgive you too (see Matthew 6:14,15). Besides, others would find it difficult to forgive you when they know that, you’re such a terrible unforgiving fellow. Beloved, let’s love one another and stop promoting hatred, for it will breed bitterness, malice, unforgiveness, violence, strife, terrorism, killing, oppression and the like. Our verse of the day says,

“Hatred stirs up strife: but love covers multitude of sin.”

Proverbs 10:12

If we can let go of offenses through love, we all can have a better future together in our society. My dear, let’s love one another. Remember, hate kills, but love heals. Be wise!

What Should You Do With This Message?
1. Forgive others if you must be forgiven by God and love them instead.
2. Determine to grow in love for others and shun bitterness and hatred.
3. Learn to let go of offenses and stop holding on to the past.
4. Refuse to constantly hold grudges against others. Instead, grow in love and fear of God.

Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank You because You love and forgave us through Jesus Christ. Therefore, help me to love and forgive others, amen!

A Word Of Blessing : Receive grace to love and live in harmony with others. Henceforth, ability beyond the natural is released to you from heaven, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection : If it’s impossible to love others, it’s a proof we’re still struggling with obedience to God.

Quote: “A heart where love reigns bitterness never survives. Bitterness thrives where love is neglected.”
