Verse Of The Day : Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. …I tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me. Matthew 25:34,40

Thought of The Day : It’s not possible to lose your rewards for a faithful service to God and humanity if you’re serving and refusing to be weary.

LISTEN : God will reward every service done in His name. A certain man on a certain day called his generous Christian friend who has virtually blessed everyone around him and asked, “My dear friend, don’t you think you’re wasting your time and money doing good? For me, generosity is a waste of effort, so stop it! ” The generous Christian friend replied him, “My dear, don’t worry about me. It’s not a waste of effort, but well channelled efforts. My reward awaits me in the future. So, I urge you to join me in doing good.” Beloved, let’s be serious about service to God and humanity. If God can use you He can reward you. If you can serve in His name He can bless you. Those who serve God faithfully would be served eventually, for God rewards genuine service to Him. The Bible says,

“For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.”

Hebrews 6:10

Truly, every genuine service done in the name of the LORD will be amply rewarded. Beloved, you won’t regret doing a kind, unselfish, or sacrificial deed. In His message to the people, Jesus Christ talks about how His Father is going to reward those who live unselfish and sacrificial life for others and the sake of the kingdom of God. Jesus tells His audience that God acknowledges even the smallest act of kindness done to anyone in His name, especially believers in Christ Jesus ; and will unfailingly reward such services. (Galatians 6:7). As long as we live, we should live to please God. God’s agenda should come first no matter what. When we put God first, He’ll equally put us first. The Bible says,

“But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33

When we sacrifice to please Him, He’ll sacrifice to bless us. My dear, serve God and be kind and generous to others in His name. Remember, when we engage in doing kind, unselfish and sacrificial deeds we will never miss heaven’s rewards (Acts 10:1-5,30-32). So, don’t be weary in doing good, rather, serve with all you’ve got; for God will not forget your service. Be wise!

What Should We Do With This Message?
1. readily render a kind, unselfish and sacrificial deeds in God’s name no matter what.
2. In all you do, learn to put God first and yours second.
3. Don’t serve God with a double mind, knowing that you’ll not miss your reward.
4. Always remember that God takes note of everything, even the smallest act of kindness.

Prayer : Dear Lord, I know you’re a good God. Therefore, help me to render genuine service to You and humanity always, amen.

A Word Of Blessing : Today, I speak on your life. May your service and labour not be in vain, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection : He who genuinely does a kind, unselfish and sacrificial deed will never miss heaven’s recognition.

Quote : “Favour begat favour. For he who makes sacrifices for the kingdom of God would receive same from God.”

Stunning Fact : Did you know the life span of a house fly is between 10 to 25 days?
