Verse Of The Day : I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit. John 15:1-2

Thought of The Day : God never tolerate unfruitfulness in our relationship with Christ; it’s either you’re fruitful, or you’re cut off from Him.

LISTEN : God is full of glory and majesty. Through His grace, He opened the door of salvation to us through Jesus Christ. This means that, we share in the glory of the resurrected Christ when we abide in Him and excel in His kingdom assignments. As believers in Christ Jesus, God wants us to be fruitful in Him. As a matter of fact, He never tolerate unfruitfulness in our relationship with Christ; it’s either you’re fruitful, or you’re cut off from Him. Beloved, unfruitfulness in the service of God is not to the glory of God. Anything that can’t bring glory to God He doesn’t tolerate. His glory should be the centre of everything we do or intend to do with our lives. Anyone who undermines the glory of God is not fit to exist. God created man for His own glory. The Bible says,

Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Isaiah 43:7

My dear, you exist for the glory of God; anything short of that is to your own detriment. You make heaven to lose in favour of hell when you watch men go to hell and you do nothing. One of the ways to glorify God in your life is to be effective in your service to Him. You must live for what brought Christ Jesus to the world – the gospel of salvation. As a ‘branch’ of Christ Jesus the true vine, your passion and genuine participation in soul winning brings glory to God. That’s how to be fruitful. Beloved, are you a fruitful branch of the true vine? Our verse of the day says,

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”

John 15:1-2

Jesus Christ declares that, every branch (anyone of us) who does not bear fruit (work for kingdom advancement) would be cut off from Him. God has no need for anyone who neglects or refuses to take his or her God-given assessments serious. But the one who bears fruit He will clean up and make room for more fruit. Beloved, who are you? A fruitful believer or a fruitless one? Don’t forget that God is glorified when you bear fruit. The Bible says,

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

John 15:8

Beloved, rise and participate in kingdom advancement today. Be wise!
