Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : For he will repay everyone according to what that person has done. Romans 2:6

Thought of The Day : What you will get in the long run is determined by what you do daily with your life.

LISTEN : God is a righteous judge, He will give to everyone what he or she has done. As a matter of fact, life is give and take. You would receive what you give to life. No action is lost. Everything you do begins a process for you – either good or bad. Your action has consequences. As a matter of fact, your actions determine your reward. The Bible says,

Be not deceived; God is not mocked:
for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

Galatians 6:7

Beloved, what you will get in the long run is determined by what you do daily with your life. The truth is, the future would be empty of pleasure and fulfilment if the present is full of carelessness and wastefulness. You cannot expect something better when you invest in evil. Evil begat evil and good begat good. Don’t forget that your actions have consequences. If only we could consider the consequences of our actions, we will be more careful with what we do or say. Our Bible verse says,

“For he will repay everyone according to what that person has done.”

Romans 2:6

God will reward us according to our works. So, if you invest in evil, be prepared for harvest of sorrow and shame. And if you invest in goodness and godliness, be prepared for eternal life and bliss. The Bible says,

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father
with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works
.”

Matthew 16:27

Therefore, don’t be careless in life, rather, examine your actions regularly and stay connected to God. Remember, your actions have consequences and will certainly come back to you. Be wise!

What Should We Do With This Message?
1. Regularly access your actions and make sure they are in line with God’s will.
2. Be conscious of God’s judgment, and be careful with what you do with your life.
3. Have the fear of God and determine to value Him above all else.
4. Learn to invest in goodness and godliness, knowing that, your labour is not in vain.

Prayer : Everlasting Father, I know You will reward everyone according to what they have done. Therefore, help me to live righteously, in Jesus’ name, amen!

A Word Of Blessing : Today, I speak on your life, it is well with you. May you be conscious of your actions and live to please God always, in Jesus’ name, amen!

Reflection : Guard your actions, for they are pointers to what your future becomes.

Quote : “The future will be full of pains and empty of pleasure and fulfilment if the present is full of carelessness and wastefulness.”
