Verse Of The Day : Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these days?” for it is not wise to ask that. Ecclesiastics 7:10 (NET).
Thought of The Day : Those who cooperate with God do not find it hard to endure their pains and turn them into a gain.
LISTEN : Those who cooperate with God don’t find it difficult to trust and obey Him. No matter the trials or pressure they are prepared to go with Him. Trial is part of life, hence, to attempt to wish it away is to attempt the impossible. Trials come when you do not ask for it. Life is a mixture of pain and gain. It is said that, “It must first be painful to be gainful.” Surely, life will frustrate anyone who thinks that it is “a bed of roses.” My dear, you must be strong and resilient to face life. The truth is, life comes with pain and pressure, The Bible says,
“Man, born of woman, lives but a few days, and they are full of trouble.”
Other than the pain of living just for a short time in the earth, we are faced with countless troubles as long as we live. Sadly, when you dwell more on the pain, you will live a sad and defeated fellow full of complaints and frustration. Therefore, to cope with trials, determine to cooperate with God. That is, comply with His instructions; work with Him because He has your interests at heart. My dear, are you having a tough and hard time? Is the past better than the present? Are you heartbroken over memories of happiness because the present is full of sorrow? Never mind! It is not yet over with you. So, let go of the past and stop complaining. You will be happy again even in your pain when you delete the memory of past happiness. Andre Gide said, “Nothing prevents happiness like the memory of happiness. So, stop complaining and begins to cooperate with God. Be wise!
What Should We Do With This Message?
1. Never walk in isolation from God, rather, walk closely with Him.
2. Do not complain or murmur against God, rather in every situation, cooperate with Him.
3. Determine to be joyful both in good and bad times.
4. Appreciate God no matter the situation and refuse to give up when life becomes tough.
Prayer : Everlasting Father! Thank You for everything. Help me to trust in You always no matter the circumstance, amen.
A Word Of Blessing : It is well with you. Today, your miseries, frustration and troubles are divinely attacked. In Jesus ‘ name, amen!
Reflection : Life comes with pain and pressure, but we win when we cooperate with God.
Quote : “Trial is part of life, hence, to attempt to wish it away is to attempt the impossible.”
