Verse Of The Day: Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again… Proverbs 24:16
Thought of The Day : God is the unseen hand that lifts the righteous from the dungeon.
LISTEN: The tension around the world today has made lots of people to lose hope and focus. No one seems to be safe anymore. Fear of kidnapping, terrorism, assassination, insecurity, hardship, miseries, etc., is crippling the hearts of men. Beloved, focus is key to great achievements. As a matter of fact, broken focus affects results negatively. The truth is, you can’t achieve much with a broken focus. You’ll certainly be off the track of progress if your focus is broken. So, don’t lose focus of your God-given purpose. Obstacles and challenges can’t stop your progress if you’re determined to make progress. When you fall, your fall can’t be your end because your focus is on God. No doubt, the journey of life isn’t an easy one, for life is full of ‘ups and downs.’ Joy is often interrupted by sorrow; health by sicknesses and diseases, peace by conflict, crisis and war; successful marriage by divorce or death, wealth by poverty and hardship; security by insecurity, wellness by pain; life by death, strength by weakness, and the list goes on and on. My dear, when you fall, you haven’t come to the end of the road in life. You’re just temporarily passing through the process of life. The Bible says,
“… weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”
Your troubles are not a mark of your end, but a season in your life. So don’t lose focus, rather remain focused. A time of trouble is not time to be discouraged, heartbroken, depressed or hopeless, but a time to build up your faith in Christ and look on to Him. Beloved, if you keep your eyes on your God-given goals you’ll not be disappointed. The Bible says,
“Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
Henceforth, be focused, strong and courageous and pursue your God-given purpose. Remember, a fall is not the end of your life. So, determine to rise when you fall. Be wise!
