Verse Of The Day : The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear? Proverbs 18:14.

Thought of The Day : It is hard to survive or outlast trials unless the heart is determined to overcome by faith.

LISTEN : No one becomes a star without a scar. Behind every win lies the wound; only those who can endure the wound can celebrate the win. Beloved, grow the spirit of an overcomer. Never permit anything to dampen your faith or douse your joy. Learn to lift up your spirit so that you can live long. Free your mind from unnecessary loads. No matter the circumstance, don’t open your mind up for depression. It’s miserable to live all your life a depressed person. Depression puts you at the mercy of circumstances. It’s a wound to the human spirit; and that’s not God’s plan for anyone. No doubt, we suffer untold hardship and miseries sometimes in life. However, we can survive everything by the strength of our spirits (faith in God), My dear, even if you’re wounded in your body, don’t be wounded in your spirit. That is, no matter what happens, don’t come to the point where you conclude that, it’s over with you. My dear, it’s suicidal to be wounded in spirit. The Bible says,

“The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?”

Proverbs 18:14.

The phrase, “wounded spirit” expresses the state of complete hopelessness. However, God wants us to be strong and courageous in moments of troubles. He wants us to have hope and faith, and sustain the desire to live and not die. In trouble times, we often hear people say things like, “I can’t make it.” “I am tired, I can’t go on anymore. I want to die, for there is nothing to live for.” The list goes on and on. Beloved, it’s dangerous to think like that. You can hardly survive or outlast your problems unless you’re determined to overcome. That’s why it is important to stay positive even if you’re down. David said,

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”

Psalms 118:17

Similarly, Job said,For I know that my redeemer lives, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.” (Job 19:25). He or she who is down, yet, stays positive and hopeful, will outlast his or her challenges and miseries. But he or she who finds it hard to believe for the best will certainly see the worst. So, be strong and courageous and refuse to sink with your problems no matter what. Be wise!

What Should We Do With This Message?
1. Stay positive and hopeful to outlast your challenges.
2. Be strong and courageous and refuse to sink with your troubles.
3. No matter how wounded you are, don’t be wounded in your spirit.
4. Never doubt what God can do, rather believe He can see you through your troubles.

Prayer : Dear LORD, you’re God of the oppressed. Deliver me from my troubles, in Jesus’ name, amen!

A Word Of Blessing : Today I speak on your life. Every oppression and demonic seed growing in your life dies today, in Jesus’ name, amen!

Reflection : Anyone who finds it hard to believe for the best will surely experience the worst.
