Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away. John 6:37

Thought of The Day : It is a privilege to be accepted by God. Hence, he or she who has this priviledge must not esteem it lightly.

LISTEN : What family do you belong to? God’s or Satan’s? Beloved, you can’t be neutral in this. God is our Creator and we should walk with Him. God awaits the return of anyone who would come back home from his or her journey of sin. My dear, like the father of the prodigal son in the Bible verse below, God is eagerly and patiently awaiting your return. The Bible says,

And he arose, and came to his father.
But when he was yet a great way off,
his father saw him, and had compassion,
and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

Luke 15:20

Friend, don’t run away from God. Running away from God is playing into the hands of Satan, and he will not show mercy. God is our source, and we should seek Him in everything. The Bible says,

For in him we live, and move, and have our being;
as certain also of your own poets have said,
For we are also his offspring.

Acts 17:28

God is our source, therefore, He will not reject a penitent sinner. Beloved, do you adjudge your sin too great to be forgiven? Not so! Just know that, God is merciful. And if you’re wise enough to return to Him through Jesus Christ, He will not reject you. God wants to forgive and receive as many that would return to Him. He is calling sinners everywhere to forsake their sins and come back to Him. Our anchor Bible verse says,

“Everyone whom the Father gives me
will come to me, and the one who comes
to me I will never send away.”

John 6:37

Jesus Christ knows the consequences of sin. This is why He is warning people everywhere to return to God at the acceptable time (2 Corinthians 6:2). So, come to Him today and He will not reject you. He died for you, therefore, He can’t refuse to receive back whom he died for. My dear, just know that He loves you and wouldn’t want you to go to hell. He is patiently waiting for you to come back home. Dear reader, heaven is waiting for you to follow Jesus Christ. Are you ready now? Just come as you are. Jesus will not reject you for he has taken care of your sin through his death. So, have faith in Him and live the rest of your life for Him. My dear, come back home today. Be wise!
