Verse Of The Day : And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. Acts 16:9
Thought Of The Day : Anyone Christ saves should demonstrate his or her salvation by showing others the way of salvation.
LISTEN : God did not save us to be saved alone. He saved us to save others. My dear, humanity is lost without God. That’s why Christ came. He came to save sinners and to transform them into saints. Therefore, everyone that Jesus Christ have saved must determine to show others the way to be saved too. The world should come to know Christ Jesus the way, truth, and life. Sadly, Satan has blinded the eyes of people that, they don’t recognise the danger they are in. Lives are wasted everyday around the world because people chose Satan over God. They live their lives in favour of the so-called pleasures of this world. They’re lost because they don’t know Christ Jesus. However, God wants them to be saved. The Bible says,
“since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity,
Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all,
revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time.”
My dear, are you a believer in Christ Jesus? Do you accept Him as your Lord and Saviour? Are you born again by the power of the Holy Spirit? Then, you’re not permitted to ignore the lost. You’re not permitted to watch sinners go to hell. Anyone Christ have saved should demonstrate his or her salvation by showing others the way of salvation. We should individually and collectively make efforts to save the lost. In his missionary journey. Paul received a vision of where God was leading him to preach Christ (in Macedonia). And he didn’t hesitate to move into action. The Bible says,
“And when he had seen the vision, straight away we made the decision to go into Macedonia,
for it seemed certain to us that God had sent us to give the good news to them.“
Brethren, have we not neglected the call to evangelism for a long time? Remember, when we don’t have keen interest to save the lost, we have lost our claim as true followers of Christ Jesus. Be wise!
What Should We Do With This Message?
1. If you are a Christian, stop sitting around and waiting endlessly to reach out to the world.
2. Don’t be ashamed to tell the world about our Saviour Jesus Christ.
3. Don’t just be a churchgoer, be a citizen of God’s Kingdom.
4. Be determined to go where God leads, and do the work He assigns to you.
Prayer : Dear LORD, today I acknowledge my sin. Henceforth, help me to get deeply involved in evangelism, in Jesus’ name, amen.
A Word Of Blessing : Today, I speak on your life, may God give you passion for the lost. May you not abandon your Christian responsibilities of soul winning, in Jesus’ name, amen.
Reflection : To be ashamed of Christ is to be ashamed of your conviction; and to be ashamed of your conviction is to lose your eternal reward.
Quote : “When we don’t have keen interest to save the lost, we have lost our claim as true followers of Christ Jesus.”
