Verse Of The Day : Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.Psalms 55:22

Thought of The Day : If you think God is incapable of carrying your burdens, then, be prepared to die with your problems.

LISTEN : God often watches us sort out our problems when we think we don’t need Him. But when we invite Him He gets us out of it. Few months ago, I told a story about a man who was worried about his son’s deteriorating health. He was passing through sleepless nights when his christian friend met him and comforted him through the scriptures. He said to him, “Friend, if only you could talk to God about it, everything will change.” The man believed him and prayed to God, and his son was eventually healed. My dear, do you have something troubling your heart or threatening your life? Just tell it to God. The Bible says,

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer
and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known unto God. And the
peace of God, which passes all
understanding, shall keep your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7

Beloved, tell that problem to God and stop worrying yourself to death. Never forget that, life cannot be pleasant when it’s spent on worries. Worrying about a thing blinds the eyes to opportunities and solutions to problems. My dear, resist worry! What is worry? Worry is to feel or cause to feel anxious or troubled about actual or potential problems. Beloved, is your heart troubled? Are you worried about certain things in your life and don’t know what to do? Then, tell it to God. Release your worry to Him in prayer. Tell God about your problems. Our theme verse says,

“Cast your burden upon the LORD,
and he shall sustain you: he shall never
suffer the righteous to be moved.”

Psalms 55:22
Do not allow your situation to shut your mouth from praying to God. Leave your worries with God and have faith in Him. Besides, fix your thoughts on His words, and not on your problems. When you focused on your problems you will lose focus of God. When your problems are always in view, God will soon be out of your view. If you think God is incapable of carrying your burdens, then, be prepared to die with your problems. Beloved, no matter the circumstance, turn your attention away from negative and unbelieving thoughts to positive and life-giving thoughts of faith, hope, and love. Henceforth, fight your fears by trusting God’s promises. Be wise!

What Should We Do With This Message?
1. Do not bear your burdens alone, take them to God.
2. Work on your thoughts by exchanging negative and unbelieving thoughts with positive and life-changing ones.
3. Determine to build up yourself in faith and trust in the living God.
4. Whatever the reason for your worry is, do not lose hope; rather trust in God.
