A FOOL CALLS SIN PLEASURE

Verse Of The Day : O God, you know my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from you. Psalms 69:5

Thought of The Day : If we know God knows our hearts and actions, we’ll avoid evil at all cost because of its consequences.

LISTEN : There is no pleasure in sin. As a matter of fact, sin is the height of foolishness. My dear. God knows and sees everything we do. His eyes sees into the depth of our hearts and the most secret places of the earth. The truth is, nothing is hidden out of God. That is the truth about our actions. Truth is key to freedom. The Bible says,

“You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.”

John 8:32

Knowing the truth is key to discovering how to enjoy real life. One important truth we are yet to understand is that, our sins are not hidden in the eyes of God. Besides, every act of sin is an act of foolishness. Our verse of the day says,

“O God, you know my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from you.”

Psalms 69:5

Our sins are opened before God. Sadly, lots of people think that God is ignorant of their sins and wickedness. As a matter of fact, they don’t treat sin as foolishness. It’s hard to see sin as foolishness unless you are spiritually and eternally-minded. Until we acknowledge and confess our sins to God, we are not yet set to walk with Him. And until we’re determined to get things right, we’ll continue to get it wrong. We can’t profess to love God and still be madly in love with sin. When we take pleasure in sin we have chosen to go without God. My dear, what’s life without God? Life is an endless journey where God is not the head of the voyage. Life is empty and meaningless without God. The Bible says,

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

Mark 8:36

My dear, nothing is truly a gain to us until God is the reason for our gain. Beloved, can you evaluate your life? Are you in right standing with God? By your own assessment, have you done well? Can God be proud of you as His loyal servant? Beloved, God wants you to acknowledge and confess your sin to Him and forsake them. Therefore, if your conscience is pricking you right now, it’s time to examine your life and repent of your sins. Truly, God knows our foolishness, and our sins are not hidden from Him. But if you return to Him today, He’ll graciously forgive you. So, make a sincere confession to God today; because, the only place we can possibly hide our sin is in the blood of Jesus Christ. He’s waiting for you right now, so, delay no more! Be wise!
