Verse Of The Day : Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. Jeremiah 31:16
Thought of The Day : God sees our tears and weeping, and rewards our faith in Him.
LISTEN : A certain wretched man grew up knowing nothing but misery and pain. He has been in pain since he was a child. He has been oppressed, mocked, humiliated, and mistreated countless times. In fact, he was a man of sorrow. One day, he prayed to God for mercy and intervention, and God heard his prayer and changed his story. Beloved, God can hear your prayer too. No matter what you’re going through, God can turn it around. There’s time for everything. The Bible says,
“A time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.”
Beloved, your story is changing today for good. The hand of God is breaking the hands of oppressors on your life. God has risen to quench the fire of evil in your life and destiny. My dear, when God shows up, enemies will take off. God may have been angry at you for one reason or another, however, when you express genuine repentance, He will not keep His anger for ever. The Bible says,
“For his anger endures but a moment; in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.“
God brings calm after the storm. As a matter of fact, when God gets involved in a case, case ends. The Israelites were variously and gruesomely oppressed by their enemies, but God promised them deliverance and eventually fulfilled it. However, for God to fulfill His promises we must exercise faith in Him. We must stop weeping and begin to worship; we must stop complaining and begin to cooperate with Him. Our verse of the day said,
“Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping,
and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded,
says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.“
Beloved, no matter your miseries and pain, God is visiting you today. He sees our tears and weeping, and will reward our faith in Him. Therefore, don’t kill yourself; instead, kill your fear. Be wise!
