Verse Of The Day : The one who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps his life from troubles. Proverbs 21:23
Thought of The Day : When the mouth is kept from careless words, life is kept from destruction.
LISTEN : Don’t act before you think, think before you act. Watch your mouth, and you will not mount unnecessary pressure on your life. Don’t be reckless with your words, for he or she who is careless with his or her mouth will end up crushing his or her own life. Our verse of the day says,
“The one who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps his life from troubles.”
My dear, watch your words to save your life. Watch what you say about others or situations around you. You could harm or heal yourself by your words. Words are powerful! There effects come in two ways. They could both destroy and build. They could cause heartbreak and mend hearts; could cause anger and also pacify anger; could bring shame and provoke glory; could encourage and also discourage. The list goes on and on. Depending on how words are used, life could be made or marred. The Bible says,
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.“
My dear, keep your mouth and you will save your life. When the mouth is kept from careless words, life is kept from destruction. Determine to always think and speak positively about people and situations. What you say about people or situations will determine how you would feel about them. Speaking positively about people or situations will keep you positive no matter what. When you are positive about people and situations you would save yourself some heart breaks. So, remember to think before you act or talk. Be wise!
