Verse Of The Day : For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office. Romans 12:4

Thought of The Day : Wise people recognise and respect the uniqueness of others.

LISTEN : Everyone is unique in nature. We are created to complement what is lacking in others. God created us with special talents and potentials for greatness. He wants us to fulfill His purpose for our lives by enhancing our talents. However, all of that will remain dormant, or at best, partially active if you ignore or refuse the help of others. The Bible says,

“Two people are better than one,
because they can reap more benefit from their labor.
For if they fall, one will help his companion up,
but pity the person who falls down and has no one to help him up.”

Ecclesiastics 4:9,10

Beloved, you can’t do it alone; and you can’t do it all, either. As a matter of fact, others have roles to play in fulfilling your God-given purpose. You need someone who shares in your visions, dreams, interests, values, etc. You need someone who is comfortable with your goals and is willing to help you achieve them no matter what. My dear, I want you to ponder on how God ‘wired the human body.’ We have cells, tissues, organs and systems in our bodies. Though they are different from one another, but they work together to achieve a common goal, for the common good of the body. Of course you know the body can’t function well in the absence of one system of the body for they are interconnected. As a matter of fact, no system of the body is insignificant. In the same way, there are certain people you must not ignore. When God commanded Moses to build the tabernacle and its materials, He endowed Bezalel with wisdom and assigned him to Moses. The Bible says,

“The LORD spoke to Moses: “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur,
of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God in skill,
in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,
to make artistic designs for work with gold, with silver, and with bronze,
and with cutting and setting stone, and with cutting wood,
to work in all kinds of craftsmanship. Moreover,
I have also given him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan,
and I have given ability to all the specially skilled, that they may make everything I have commanded you.”‘

Exodus 31:1-6

Beloved, don’t reject to work with anyone who is willing to help you achieve your God-given goals. Make room for, and utilise the energy, potential, and abilities of anyone and everyone who is willing to help. If you fail to appreciate the gifts of God in others, then, you have chosen to walk in ignorance. And God can’t help you when you choose to reject and despise the help He already provided for you through others. Beloved, remember that, you can’t do it all alone. Therefore, work with anyone who is willing to help you achieve your God-given purposes. Be wise!
