Verse Of The Day : But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Thought of The Day : When we keep our distance from God, we would lose the strength His presence provides.
LISTEN : Power lies with God. There’s ‘strength’ that the presence of God provides. His presence buries weaknesses and imparts strength on the faint – hearted. When we lean on God, He baptises us with supernatural strength and abilities. The Bible says,
“So do not be afraid, because I am with you.
Do not be sad, because I am your God. I will make you
strong and I will help you. Really, I will hold you with my right hand. It is strong and it wins wars.”
Isaiah 41:10 (EE).
However, most times we are defeated because we failed to lean on Him for strength. We neglect spiritual weapons – faith and prayer. Prayer and faith in God is our spiritual energy. Beloved, you need to wait on God. As a matter of fact, you can’t go through life successfully if you are empty of spiritual energy. You need divine assistance to excel. Jesus Christ said,
“…for without me ye can do nothing.“
This means that, you must lean on God for strength and success. Besides, you must regularly stop to refill to be able to proceed in life. God is our source. Therefore, no matter our schedules, we should withdraw from the crowd most times for purpose of prayer, meditation and communing with God. My dear, determine to refill your yourself in the altar of God and be revived again. Don’t drive your life on “an empty tank” lest you experience a puncture of your expectations. Spend time with God and receive new strength. We often get tired of life because of problems associated with it. Sometimes we are stretched beyond our limits, but with God we can overcome (Romans 8:37). As we go through diverse troubles on a daily basis, we should know when to retreat and refresh to be able to continue to function well, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We should learn to go to God for strength. The Bible says,
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
However, when we keep our distance from Him, we would lose the strength His presence provides. Henceforth, stop being reckless and unwise and begin to walk with God today. Be wise.
What Should We Do With This Message?
1. Know when to be with the crowd and when to be left alone to be with God.
2. Learn to withdraw and be with the Holy Spirit to refresh and renew your strength.
3. Don’t neglect to spend quality time with the Spirit of God no matter what.
4. Always listen to the voice of God and act as instructed.
Prayer : Dear LORD, You are good to me. Help me to always turn to You for strenght and security, in Jesus’ name, amen.
A Word Of Blessing : May God fill you with supernatural strenght for spiritual warfare and excellence, in Jesus’ name, amen!
