Verse Of The Day : For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21

Thought of The Day : To a faithful servant of God whether dead or alive, nothing has changed because eternal life is sure.

LISTEN : Living and dying for Christ is a privilege. With Him there’s no regrets. Christ Jesus is everything. If you are empty of Him you are eternally empty. All things are from him and through Him. In him is life and hope of eternity. The Bible says,

“All things were made by him; and without him
was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

Those who follow Him never wander into destruction. Beloved, make the choice to follow Him. The choice to follow Christ is a choice that would lead to life eternal. Dead or alive, the future of every true believer in Christ Jesus is eternally secured, for death can’t terminate God’s love for His people. Jesus said,

“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me,
though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever
lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this?”

John 11:25,26

With Jesus Christ a true believer has no regrets. Dead or alive we are eternally secure. Beloved, can you declare your unreserved loyalty to God? Can you be God’s, whether dead or alive? Are you truly glorifying God with your life? Assuming your life in this world is to expire today, can you be glad to go back home to God who created you? In our verse of the day Apostle Paul declared his unchanging resolve for God. He said,

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

Philippians 1:21

He was simply saying that he lives his life just to honour God. (Galatians 2:20). But if he dies, that would be better for him, because by then, he’ll be forever united with Christ Jesus. To a true believer in Christ Jesus, death is an opportunity to exit the wicked world and transit to a better place. Yes, to a faithful servant of God whether dead or alive, nothing has changed. So, as you live, live for God and you’ll find yourself in Him when your life expires on the earth. Be wise!

What Should We Do With This Message?
1. No matter what, don’t give up your faith for anything, rather, be strong in faith.
2. Don’t live for yourself, instead, determine to live for God.
3. Never trade God for wealth or fame, because you’ll lose them without God.
4. Determine to live for God whether dead or alive.

Prayer : Dear heavenly Father, I bless Your name because Christ Jesus died for the salvation of the world. Help me to put my trust in You and serve You as long as I live, amen.

A Word Of Blessing : Today I speak on your life. May your life be pleasing to God as you continue to serve Him, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection : To live at the expense of God in this life is to end with the devil in eternity.
