Verse Of The Day : Be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
Thought of The Day : When we watch and pray with thanksgiving, answers to prayers will come suddenly.
LISTEN : Prayer is essential to spiritual growth and relationship with God. My dear, you can’t grow in your walk with God when you can’t pray to him. Prayer is God’s approved channel of communication with him. It therefore means that, if you are not praying you are not talking to God. And if you can’t talk to God you are on your own. In fact, it is not possible to continue in faith when prayer has come to zero in your life. This is why Jesus said,
“ …men ought always to pray, and not to faint.”
Beloved, there is power in prayer. Genuine prayer will produce mind-blowing results. He who is addicted to the act of prayer cannot be empty of results. The Bible says,
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek,
and all of you shall find; knock, and it shall be
opened unto you: For every one that asks receives; and he
that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.”
Like faith, prayer gives us the opportunity to access what God has freely given to us through Christ Jesus. My dear, a person of prayer, is a person of power; for one who is connected to God is connected to divine authority. When prayer becomes a delight, divine attention becomes an undeniable experience. When we consistently breath the air of prayer, we cannot suffocate for lack of ‘spiritual oxygen.’ Friend, do you pray? Do you pour out your troubled heart to God in prayer? If your faith must survive, you must grow in the act of prayer. The truth is, your Christian life cannot be stronger than your prayer life. (Luke 22:46). Henceforth, do not faint or give up praying; instead, pray and keep praying until you break through. Be wise!
What Should We Do With This Message?
1. No matter what, don’t give up praying, rather pray until you receive.
2. Pray to God in your distress and He will hear you.
3. Be serious and active with your prayer life and end the reign of prayerlessness in your life.
4. Make praying your lifestyle and you will enjoy a warm relationship with the Spirit of God.
Prayer : Dear Lord! I thank You because You answer prayers of faith. Therefore, hear me when I call You in my distress, in Jesus’ name, amen.
A Word Of Blessing : Today, I speak on your life. May you not faint in prayer. May the grace to pray and receive answers be released to you now, in Jesus’ name, amen.
Reflection : A person of prayer is a person of power.
Quote : “Pray always and fervently; for no one loses interest in prayer and expects to sustain a strong fellowship with God.”
