Verse Of The Day : He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son. Revelations 21:7

Thought Of The Day : The Christian faith is a battle; but it’s a fight of faith with great rewards.

LISTEN : Life is a battle, you must prepare to win. The Christian race is a marathon, therefore, you must receive energy from God to finish well. The Bible says, “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31). God honours overcomers. He honours those who through their faith in Christ overcomes trials and the world. Our anchor Bible verse says, “He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.” (Revelations 21:7) My dear, those who suffer for Christ will wear the crown of life. Cross precedes crown, just as pain precedes gain. As a matter of fact, the head will not wear the crown of life if the body refuses to first carry the cross of Christ. The Christian faith is a battle; it is a fight of faith for a great reward. It’s either you fight and overcome, or you fear and be subdued by the enemy. My dear, do you want to experience God in your life? Then, you must fight the fight of faith. You must be ready to overcome the world of sin and trials. God reserves His blessings for those who overcome trials, sin and everything the world throws at them. God wants to give you eternal life. He wants you to experience a life of endless bliss after your struggle in this life. However, He will not give eternal life to you by way of sympathy, but by winning the fight of faith. You must overcome to be able to receive it. You must be prepared to defend what Jesus died for. He is the author and finisher of our faith. Therefore, for us to reach the end of our life and Christian journey successfully, our eyes must be fixed on Him (Hebrews 12:2). No matter the trials or circumstances of your life, you should hold onto your faith from start to finish. Surely, if you suffer with Christ you will reign with Him in eternity. Beloved, there are better days ahead of us. The Bible says, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”(Revelations 21:4). Isn’t that interesting? Won’t you love to enjoy eternal life? Jesus died to free you from endless woes. So, never give up the fight of faith until you see the crown of life on your head. Remember, you have been empowered to finish the race of faith. So, run. Be wise!
