Verse Of The Day : The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. Psalms 34:15

Thought of The Day : The fear of God increases His love for you and His love triggers His blessings.

LISTEN : You increase God’s love for you when you fear and honour Him. As a matter of fact, Your love for Him attracts His presence – protection, provision and preservation. His eyes go where you go; and His ears are open to your prayers. Two young men were testing their individual abilities to hear and see each other clearly from a distance. When they stepped a little away backwards from each other, one of them will shout, “Can you see and hear me?” The other will reply, “Yes, I can see and hear you clearly.” They continued the exercise to a point where they eventually lost sight of each other. And one of them shouted as before, “Can you see or hear me?” This time, there was no response because they can’t hear or see each other anymore. This demonstrates the limitations of man. We see and hear in part. We can only see what the human eyes could see (Deuteronomy 29:29); and hear what the human ears could hear. But our God – the Almighty God is not like that. He sees and hears everything. As a matter of fact, God goes where His people go (Isaiah 43:2). He leads them by His mighty hands and watches over them with His ‘all seeing eyes.’ His eyes are not like humans’ eyes that often suffer impairment. His eyes see clearly from heaven above the affairs of the righteous. His ears are open to their cry and groaning. He can’t forsake them because they are precious to Him. Beloved, do you believe in God? Have you received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life? If yes, then you are God’s beloved child. Your faith in Christ Jesus conferred on you the gift of righteousness and divine protection (Romans 5:17). God will guard you with His eyes, and swoop in to save you when the devil attacks you. His ears will be open to your prayers because your heart is equally opened to His words. My dear, fear God and live in obedience to Him, and you will be His beloved. Be wise!

3. When you are troubled, pray to God and believe that His ears are opened to your prayers.
