Verse Of The Day : He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. Psalms 115:13

Thought of The Day : Fear and love for God provoke His blessings.

LISTEN : Life doesn’t permit neutrality, either you’re here or there. If you’re not fearing God you’re daring Him. What does it mean to fear God? It means to be submissive to Him with a sense of awe and respect for Him. On the other hand, to dare God is to determine to make Him angry with your actions; to be bold in going against His will. When we live outside His will we make Him angry. Lack of fear of God brings frustration, curse and disasters. Irredeemable catastrophe begins with lack of fear of God. My dear, do you have the fear of God in your heart? God blesses those who love and fear Him. Age, race, colour, background, etc. are not obstacles to His blessings. If there is love and fear for Him, He can bless you no matter the pain and sorrow facing you today. If you can’t compromise on your love and fear for God, He’ll not allow you to end as a failure (Romans 10:11). Few months ago, I told a story about a certain slave boy whose family had been enslaved since he was five years old. One day he asked his father, “Father, what is wrong with us? Why are we treated this way by others? When would this suffering be over? Can’t there be a solution to our misery?” His father smiled and said, “Son, all will soon be over. Nothing is impossible to God who created the heavens and the earth. With Him, no one is too young or old to be blessed. No one is too enslaved to be freed. Because we fear God, one day, we shall be free and blessed.” The following year the family was eventually set free and favoured by their slavemaster in many ways as compensation for their years of servitude. My dear, love and fear of God matters to Him. God can’t abandon those who fear Him. In the Bible, Abraham honoured and obeyed God and was blessed for his obedience and faith in God. (Genesis 24:1). God rewarded his years of faithfulness and obedience to Him. My dear, God can bless anyone including you. So, position yourself for the blessings of God. Remember, we are positioned for God’s blessings when we walk in fear, faith and obedience to Him. Henceforth, determine to walk in obedience to God and you’ll attract His blessings. Be wise!

What Should We Do With This Message?

2. Determine to be obedient, dedicated and loyal to God.
3. Don’t be intimidated by circumstances around you. Instead, rise in faith and declare your victory.
4. Determine to walk in the fear of God and resist the spirit of disobedience.
