Verse Of The Day : Let favor be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness. In the land of uprightness he will deal wrongfully, and will not see the LORD’s majesty. Isaiah 26:10 (NHEB)

Thought of The Day : The wicked never see any good in a favour, but sees yet another opportunity to wreck havoc.

LISTEN : “My son, watch what you do. No matter what happens, don’t be wicked to others. Remember that, everything you do is a seed and you’ll reap the fruit someday,” says a father to his only son. Friend, the wicked hates righteousness. Yes, to him or her, righteousness doesn’t exist. When he or she receives a favour, rather than appreciate it, he or she uses it as a weapon of destruction against his or her benefactor. In fact, to them, wickedness is a normal way of life. The truth is, wickedness discourages people from being good to others. However, as believers in Christ we must keep doing good to others. My dear, do you think kindness is not worth it? Have you made the decision to stop being nice and doing good to people because of that? Please think again! My dear, God wants you to behave differently. He wants you to be godly and God-fearing. Never expect everyone to be nice to you the same way you’re to them. Many people have sold their souls to the devil. Therefore, no matter your goodness and love to them, they’ll want to pay you evil for good. Our verse of the day says, “Let favor be shown to the wicked, yet he will not learn righteousness. In the land of uprightness he will deal wrongfully, and will not see the LORD’s majesty.” (Isaiah 26:10). Beloved, the wicked don’t have the fear of God in their heart, and therefore will find it difficult to live right. Favour doesn’t change anyone who is determined to be wicked. So, whatever you do for anyone, do it as unto God. Only God can reward your goodness. No matter what, don’t be tired of doing good. (Galatians 6:9). If you stop doing good because of people’s bad attitude to you, you’ll lose the reward of goodness and suffer the same fate with the wicked. So, keep doing good and God will reward you in due time. Be wise!

What Should We Do With This Message?
1. Do good to everyone not minding who appreciates you or not, for God will reward you.
2. Never stop to do good just because you were hurt, rather do it as unto the Lord.
3. Don’t pay back evil for evil, rather keep doing good all the same.
4. Never expect everyone to be nice to you the same way you are to them.

Faith Confession : In Jesus’ name. I declare that, no matter the evil in the world, I’ll not stop doing good, amen.

Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank You for your words today. I know I’m living in a wicked world, therefore, help me to overcome evil and always live in line with your will, amen.

A Word Of Blessing : It’s well with you. Today I speak on your life. No one will harm you for your goodness. May the Lord protect you and cause you to never cease to do good, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Reflection : He who expects every beneficiary of his favour to reciprocate, would wait forever.

Quote : “No expression of favour changes the wicked who is determined to progress with wickedness. To him, wickedness is a normal way of life.”
