Verse Of The Day : Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him. Psalms 12:5
Thought of The Day : You cannot be lost in the ocean of trouble or endlessly oppressed by the devil when God is your God.
LISTEN : God sees everything and everyone. Besides, He knows everything and everyone. Everyone and everything is opened before Him. As a matter of fact, day and night God sees the miseries and gnashing of teeth of the oppressed. He listens to their day to day groaning and sees the wickedness meted out to them. (Exodus 3:7). Though, sometimes it may seem like He is taking too long to intervene, surely, He will eventually intervene. (Luke 18:7,8). He will certainly break the yoke of oppression in the neck of the oppressed. Beloved, are you oppressed physically, mentally, or spiritually? Have you been unfairly and cruelly treated? Is your heart broken and pierced with sadness or memories of afflictions and oppressions? Are you terrified because of increase of oppression in your life? Do not be afraid; God will deliver you from your oppressors. The Bible says, “Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him.” (Psalms 12:5). God is the voice of the voiceless, defender of the vulnerable ; and hope of the hopeless. With Him, no oppressor is too powerful to be subdued. When the oppressed surrenders to God, his or her battle becomes God’s battle. When God arises to defend His own, the oppressor will become the oppressed; and those who intend to cause harm to God’s children will harm themselves instead. Beloved, cheer up! God will surely arise to defend you. Remember, no matter the stronghold of Satan against your life, God will surely come for you. Be wise!
