Verse Of The Day : When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. Psalms 27:10

Thought of The Day  : To survive trials of life, look beyond human’s help to God’s unfailing and ultimate help.

LISTEN : A song writer wrote, “Oh God, our help in ages past, Our hope for years to come, our shelter from the stormy blast, And our eternal home” (Ancient and Modern). The song writer speaks of God as an all-time God who’s ever present and ready to help those who trust in Him. So, you must put your hope in Him. Never lose hope. You have a great God and should not be hopeless. To be hopeless is to feel or cause to despair. Despair is the complete loss or absence of hope. My dear, stop being ‘unreasonably hopeless’ and begin to be courageous and hopeful no matter what. There is no situation that is too hopeless until you accept it. So, resist hopelessness! A hopeless mind is nothing but an empty mind loaded with negative thoughts and imagination. Yes, hopelessness is a choice and not the outcome of our circumstances. If you keep looking unto God hopelessness will fade away and make room for hopefulness if only you will realize that, God is bigger than everything and everyone. Beloved, God is closer to you than you think. He would help you when you cry out to Him for help. When you trust Him to help you, He will carry your burdens for you (1 Peter 5:7). God knows those who belong to Him and therefore cannot forsake them. (2 Timothy 2:19). So, do not think that, God has forsaken you just because you are in trouble, rather, look onto Him because He is there for you. He will intervene at the right time. My dear, don’t despair, instead, exercise your faith in Him. Believe me, you can experience the faithfulness of God if your eyes are on Him. God is able to sustain the righteous and his seeds; so, don’t be depressed, rather exercise faith in God. Never lose hope thinking God has abandoned you, or thinks it is all over just because no one seems to care about you. All hopes cannot be lost when God is the source of your hope. Therefore, stop relying solely on man for help and begin to put your trust in the living God. David said, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.” (Psalms 27:10). Henceforth, look onto God and never lose hope no matter what. Be wise!
