Verse Of The Day : Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:35

Thought of The Day : Every true believer in Christ Jesus knows that, He’s worth living and dying for.

LISTEN : What you can live for and die for is what takes the centre stage in your life. To a true believer, Christ is worth living and dying for. Yes, dying for Christ is dying for eternal life. And he who dies for Christ has secured a future with God. Couple of months ago, I told a story about a man who was arrested and tormented for couple of years for preaching the gospel of Christ Jesus. His tormentors offered to set him free if only he could renounce Jesus Christ and quit preaching the gospel. But to their greatest surprise he said, “I would rather die than renounce my faith in Jesus Christ. I have no life or future without Him, and so are you. Kill me if you want to. I would be the happiest person in the world if I die defending my faith. If you think you can entice me with freedom, forget it, for I am forever a prisoner of Christ and nothing can separate me from Him; and my decision is irreversible. If you kill me now I will live forever with God. So, go ahead and do whatever you want to do. But before I die, I urge you to accept Jesus Christ and be saved. Today, I am innocent of your blood.” My dear, this should be the confession and decision of every believer in Christ Jesus. We should not serve God just for what we can gain in this life, but what we can gain in eternity. (John 6:26-27). Even if we lose everything because of our faith in God, we should determine to remain strong and focused on Him who calls us. The Bible says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (Romans 8:35). Beloved, your love for God should carry you through every storm. If you renounce your faith in Christ because of pressure, it shows you never believed in Him. Those who truly believe in Him are never afraid to suffer for His sake. My dear, fix your eyes on Christ Jesus and don’t be distracted by what you must suffer for His sake. Be prepared to lose yourself in Him and you will gain yourself in Him too. The Bible says, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” (Matthew 16:25). Remember, Christ is worth dying for, lets live and die for His purpose. Be wise!
