Verse Of The Day For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. 2 Corinthians 4:17

Thought of The Day : Suffering doesn’t stop success, our choices in times of troubles do.

LISTENThe decision to keep making progress in spite of difficulties or heartbreak is a product of determination and self-discipline. It is the expression of your conviction that, you are unstoppable. Beloved, you can fulfill your purpose in life if you refuse to give up (Job 14:14). My dear, lots of things may want to stop you but don’t give up or give in. Never allow afflictions to stop you (see Genesis 41:51-52). Yes, no matter the amount of pain and suffering, don’t give up, rather look to the future. No doubt, we suffer to survive and succeed in life, because life is not a respecter of persons. Life both teaches and tortures us at the same time. Sometimes life is made better by the lesson we learned from it; other times our hearts are made bitter or broken by the same life. As a matter of fact, we both learn and suffer from life’s circumstances. But the good news is that, as a true child of God, no matter what you suffer in this life, it is just a light affliction compared to the glory you will receive for believing in Jesus Christ. My dear, no one is immune to this light affliction, but as children of God, we are fortified by our faith in Christ to cope with it. Your strength in time of trouble is your faith in God. When you operate in faith you will swim in strength. No affliction is too powerful to paralyse the power of faith. Yes! Faith will keep you firmly footed when the storm of life is raging, and will keep you standing when it is over. Friend, I want you to know that, whatever you are passing through now is momentary. So, don’t throw away your confidence in God because of trials. Instead, be strong and know that your pain, heartbreak, hardship, sorrow, trials, sickness, rejection, persecution, etc., are just temporary (Psalms 30:5). Henceforth, never allow afflictions to stop you. Remember, suffering does not stop success, our choices in times of troubles do. Be wise!
