Verse Of The Day : Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

THOUGHT OF THE DAY : God cannot do for you what He has enabled you to do by yourself.

LISTEN : Everyone is in the earth for a particular assignment (Jeremiah 1:4-5). No one comes to the earth without some God-given purposes. And whatever God gives, He gives for the blessing of humanity and the glory of His own name. However, we cannot achieve His purpose for our lives if we refuse to make sincere efforts to keep pressing on to the finish line. To fulfill God’s purpose for our lives, we must realise that, we have a purpose to fulfill. Without such consciousness, you will wander around the world aimlessly and exit it unfulfilled and shamefully too. What is purpose? Purpose in this context is the reason why something exists. With all his exploits in the kingdom assignments, Apostle Paul continuously went for more of God’s grace for greater achievements. He employed his efforts to finishing well and receiving the reward. He was determined to focus on his assignment, by reaching forth unto what he was called to do. He said, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13-14). Paul did not frustrate the grace of God by dwelling in the past, like some persons would do, rather, he gave himself to Christ Jesus and eventually finished well (2 Timothy 4:7-8). My dear, you must determine to live like Christ whom Paul imitated (1 Corinthians 11:1). Christlikeness is losing all to gain Him (Christ). Thankfully, whatever you lose to gain Christ, you will gain in the long run. So, press on in the knowledge of God, for that is the sure way to attain divine height. As a matter of fact, your level of enlightment determines your level of attainment. Therefore, make efforts to fulfill your God-given purposes today. Be wise!
