Author : Bishop Julius Okarike
Verse Of The Day : Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
THOUGHT OF THE DAY : Peace of mind cannot be bought in the market, but obtained by prayer of faith and thanksgiving.
LISTEN : Anxiety produces fear and emotional instability; but prayer of faith and thanksgiving brings peace of mind and answers to prayers. My dear, stop being anxious! To be anxious is to feel or show worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome. Rather than being anxious, pray and thank God in everything. Genuine prayer with thanksgiving expresses faith in God, and will attract peace into the mind and heart of the troubled. Friend, learn to talk to God about your problems. Talking to God about your problems is key to experiencing peace of mind. People feel restless and troubled when faced with trials or difficult situations because, they chose to worry about them, instead of talking to God in prayer and giving thanks (Matthew 7:7-8). My dear, pray! Learning to pray is learning to trust God in every situation. If you can pray in faith you cannot continue to live with a troubled heart. Yes, it is not possible to pray in faith in times of troubles and not feel the peace of God in your heart. When you pray in faith, you have stopped thinking about what might happen as a result of your troubles, and starts believing what God says He will do in His words (Mark 9:23). Beloved, never be anxious about anything, rather pray about everything (Philippians 4:6). When you do that with thanksgiving, the peace of God will fill your heart and mind; and your feelings will be influenced by God and your anxiety and worries will vanish. Therefore, no matter the circumstance, pray always and thank God and you will enjoy peace of mind. Be wise!

TOPIC : THOSE WHO ASK RECEIVE
Bible Verse : Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7
LISTEN : Ask and believe to receive. God will give when you ask of Him. He gives to those who ask of Him. So, ask Him. My dear, you will not receive until you ask in line with His will. Learning to ask is trusting to receive. God gives answers when we ask. He reveals and releases hidden things when we seek Him diligently; and He will let us in when we knock on His door. God honours those who are importunate in prayer. He blesses those who are tenacious in seeking to discover His will and receive His blessings. He will not ignore those who refuse to give up on knocking on the door of mercy and blessings. He promises to respond when we sincerely ask, seek and knock on His door of grace. The Bible says, “For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:8). My dear, stop complaining and begin to ask, seek and knock on the door you want to open up in your life. Never miss any opportunity to ask, seek and knock on God’s door through prayer. Remember, God gives to those who ask of Him. Therefore, you cannot be empty of answers when your mouth is full of prayers. Be wise!
Prayer : Blessed Father, I thank you because you answer prayers. Therefore, hear me when I call you, in Jesus’ name, amen!
