Verse Of The Day : Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Proverbs 16:24 (NET)

THOUGHT OF THE DAY : Words that heals are words of wisdom and encouragement from God.

LISTEN: Life is sweet when we encourage and edify others to reach their goals and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. To edify is to build up ; to uplift ; to enlighten, to cause to improve. My dear, why do you speak to people? Is it to discourage or encourage them to fulfill their dreams and God-given purposes? Do you speak to edify others or to destroy them with your mouth? Beloved, God wants our words to heal and not kill others. (Colossians 4:6). He wants us to build up others and not tear them down with our words. Friend, He who speaks or acts to heal and build up others make life sweet and worth living. Our Bible verse says, “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” (Proverbs 16:24). Pleasant words are words that can heal, give and save lives. These words are not common, only those who fear God speak to build and encourage others. To encourage is to make someone more determined, hopeful, or confident. My dear, do you speak pleasant words? Do you give wholesome counsels and refreshing comfort to bring healing and life to battered and shattered lives? Beloved, learn to heal others with your words. A lot of people are hurting out there, and need someone to encourage and bring back their hope and collapsed courage. You can be that person God can use to bind up their broken hearts and restore hope to them. Henceforth, learn to speak words of comfort, encouragement, motivation and healing to others today. So, work hard to encourage and edify others. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Ephesians 6:24 (KJV)

LISTEN: God has never left His faithful followers without grace. His grace keeps His people going when everything threatens them. His grace or favour is the extra energy or strength given for every battle His people might face. Beloved, genuine relationship with Christ will bring God’s grace (favour) to you. Favour will follow you when God becomes your priority. The Bible says, “But seek all of you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33). God owns the world, and when you honour and worship Him faithfully He can command anything or anyone to work in your favour. The Bible says, “The LORD owns the earth and all it contains, the world and all who lives in it.” (Psalms 24:1). Though God’s grace is undeserved when it comes to salvation by faith through Christ; but He limits certain privileges to those who have accepted His only begotten Son Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. (John 1:12). Only those who have accepted Jesus are given the power to become sons and daughters of God who should have access to eternal life, divine protection, divine provisions, divine health, etc. Beloved, are you part of God’s family? If not, embrace Jesus Christ and become a citizen of God’s kingdom today. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, thank you for your words today. Help me to love you always, in Jesus’ name, amen.
