Verse Of The Day : But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18
THOUGHT OF THE DAY : The future does not belong to those who are in a hurry, but those whose steps are ordered by God.
LISTEN : “I can’t wait anymore, I am losing my patience. How long would this continue? When I look at others and their successes, I feel like dying because, life is not fair to me.” Says a brokenhearted woman, tearfully. “Beloved, don’t be in a hurry, you will certainly get there, ” says a woman who comes around to console her. My dear, never get ahead of God because you will get nowhere. If God cannot lead the way you will certainly be lost before the end of your journey. So, go with Him and you are sure to end well. Don’t envy or be frustrated by the ‘success’ of the wicked, because God sees everything they do. The Bible says, “For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.” (Proverbs 4:17). The wicked loves evil, their influence and affluence is a product of evil. They are foolish in understanding and lack the fear of God. Therefore, they will face the consequences of their actions. The Bible says, “For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.“ (Proverbs 1:32). But the just by wisdom and the fear of God will ascend to honour and greatness. No matter the delays and pain, darkness must give way to light. Our anchor bible verse says, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day.“ (Proverbs 4:18). So, don’t give up and God will take you up. Be wise!

TOPIC : GOD DESERVES OUR LOVE
Wednesday, July 1, 2020
Bible Verse : He said: “I love you, LORD, my source of strength! Psalms 18:1
LISTEN: God demands nothing less than sincere love from us. Loving Him with all our hearts is what we can possibly do for Him. We should declare our love for Him like David. David spake unto the LORD these words in our verse of the day, the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. He declares his love for God and ascribes his victories to Him. David calls God “my strength.” He acknowledges that he is powerless and nothing without God. He knows that he overcomes his enemies not by his battle skills, sophisticated weapons, intelligence, or trusted allies, but through the power of God. Sadly, a lot of people often ascribe their victories and successes in life to humans or “deities.” They fail to acknowledge God as their source of strength. Their love is in something else. Beloved, do you love God? Is He the source of your strength? Like David, can you boldly declare your love for God? Henceforth, let us declare our love for God as the strength of our lives. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to love you always, in Jesus ‘ name.
