Verse Of The Day: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2
THOUGHT OF THE DAY : God brings light in darkness and hope in hopelessness.
LISTEN : God is mysterious in all His ways. No man can predict His moves. When He moves, Satan trembles and tumbles in fear and confusion. When He moves, Problems receive solutions. God is light to them that walk in darkness. Darkness (evil) cannot survive where light reigns. When God moves, Satan is dislodged. (James 2:19). When God moves everything falls into place; because His power overrides and overturns the verdicts of the devil and his wicked agents. When God decides to show up, emptiness will give way to abundance and fulfillment. Yes, when He moves, He brings order to a disorderly condition. Our verse of the day says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:2). The earth we live today was previously formless and void. It was completely desolate; and was an expression of confusion and disorder. However, God’s presence transformed everything; for His presence makes crooked paths straight. His words expresses His presence. When His word comes everything changes. The Bible says, “God said, Let there be light, and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3). Beloved, is your life shattered? Is your life full of confusion and disorder? Allow the Spirit of God to move in and fix your life; for you can accomplish nothing of eternal importance without Him. So, invite Him to bring order into your life today; with God, all situations can be changed. Remember, God moves in mysterious ways. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge. Psalms 16:1
LISTEN : When you make God your refuge Satan cannot turn you into a refuse. Nothing can take you away from God when your faith is firm on Him. Conversely, life will be spent in fear where security is not guaranteed. Destruction will hit anyone who chooses to abandon God. Life is a nightmare without God. Yes, people tend to live in fear when they do not feel safe; as a result, would do anything possible to protect themselves from harm. (Judges 6:2–6,11). Unfortunately, no matter how much people try to protect themselves in this wicked world, it is practically impossible to escape the many traps of wickedness without God. (Job 14:1). This was exactly what David saw when he prayed, “Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge.” (Psalms 16:1). He prayed God to protect him from evil and wicked people. He did that, by first acknowledging God as his refuge. He knows that God is his protection in time of danger or distress. He believes God will shield him from arrows of Satan and his allies. In a nutshell, David was saying, “I will hide myself in the living God. I will depend on God for protection and none other.” Beloved, who is your refuge? Who do you run to in time of trouble? Where do you hide yourself for protection? Do you know you have no protection without God? Henceforth, fix your eyes on God in times of troubles, and hide yourself in Him. Those who hid themselves in God cannot be snatched by the devil. Be wise!
Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you because you are my defence. Keep me from evil, in Jesus’ name, amen.
