Verse Of The Day: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2
THOUGHT OF THE DAY : When God is at work even darkness changes to light at His commands.
LISTEN : When God works men tell the stories. When He moves, Satan and his agents tremble. When He gives commands, problems receive solutions. God is light to them that walk in darkness, and darkness (evil) cannot survive where light reigns. When God appears, Satan trembles and disappears. (James 2:19). Yes, everything falls in place when God is at work, because His power overrides and overturns the verdicts of the devil and his agents. My dear, when God decides to show up in your case, emptiness will give way to abundance, and orderliness will drown disorderliness. Our verse of the day says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:2). The earth we live in today was previously without form and void. It was formless and empty; it was completely desolate; and was an expression of confusion and disorder. However, God’s presence overturned everything; for His presence makes crooked paths straight. His word expresses His presence. When His word comes everything changes. The Bible says, “God said, Let there be light, and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3). Beloved, is your life shattered? Is your life full of confusion and disorder? Allow the Spirit of God to move in and fix your life. For you can accomplish nothing of eternal importance without God. So, invite Him to work in your life and bring order to the storm ravaging your life. Be wise!

TOPIC : GOD PROVIDES PROTECTION WHEN YOU PROVIDE FAITH

Bible Verse : Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge. Psalms 16:1
LISTEN : Faith brings God to us. Without faith it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6). When you make God your refuge, nothing can take you away from Him or causes you to fear. Conversely, life will be spent in fear where security is not guaranteed. Destruction will hit anyone who chooses to abandon God. Life is a nightmare without God. Yes, people tend to live in fear when they do not feel safe; as a result, would do anything possible to protect themselves from harm. (Judges 6:2–6,11). Unfortunately, no matter how much people try to protect themselves in this wicked world, it is practically impossible to escape the many traps of wickedness without God. (Job 14:1). This was exactly what David saw when he prayed, “Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge.” (Psalms 16:1). He prayed God to protect him from evil and wicked people. He did that, by first acknowledging God as his refuge. He knows that God is his protection in time of danger or distress. He believes God will shield him from arrows of Satan and his allies. In a nutshell, David was saying, “I will hide myself in the living God and will depend on Him always.” Friend, who is your refuge? Who do you run to in time of trouble? Where do you hide yourself for protection? Do you know you have no protection without God? Henceforth, fix your eyes on God in times of troubles, and hide yourself in Him and He will protect you. Be wise!
Prayer : Eternal Father. Help me to put my trust in You and be saved, amen!
