Verse Of The Day : … and whoso breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him. Ecclesiastics 10:8
THOUGHT OF THE DAY : You will lose your divine protection when you break your divine hedge.
LISTEN : You cannot be in danger of destruction when your divine hedge is intact. Yes, no matter how hungry or angry a lion might be, it can never devour a sheep that is in a stronghold. It can only move round and round trying to grab the sheep but can never touch it, because of the protection that is built around it. And that is who a true believer is to the devil. He or she is a nightmare to the kingdom of darkness. I watched a hen (fowl) struggling with a standing transparent bottle full of groundnuts on a particular day. The hen moved round and round pecking the bottle repeatedly in desperation and frustration, but could not access the content. Rather than eat the groundnuts, the groundnuts became the hen’s frustration. And I asked myself, “What if these grains of groundnut were spread on the ground? Would the hen not have eaten them up?” Certainly yes! With that experience I learned the importance of divine protection. Beloved, this is how you are protected when you hide yourself in God. (John 10:28-30; Psalms 125:2). Anything hidden in God is hidden out of the reach of the enemy; for who God protects the devil cannot devour. The devil cannot succeed with you except you break the hedge (God’s protection) around your life. A hedge is something that provides protection or defence. My dear, when you decide to walk in disobedience to God you have chosen to expose yourself to the devil. The Bible says, “… and whoso breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.” (Ecclesiastics 10:8). So, walk in the fear of God and you will abide under His shadow; walk in disobedience to Him and you will be bitten by the serpent – the devil. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
LISTEN : “Can you fix any problems just by worrying about them?” A man asked his troubled friend. Sadly, this is what most people do. Worrying about everything. Why worry about your needs and problems when you can pray and trust God? Do you think God does not care about you? Besides, what do you think you can fix by worrying yourself? Beloved, God cares about you. Yes, He cares about us! No matter what you are facing right now, God is still faithful and does care about you. (Psalms 94:14 ; 55:22). The faithfulness of God is for all generations. Therefore, always trust His faithfulness and He will sustain you. Do not believe the lies that God does not care about your problems. Our verse of the day says, “Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). Beloved, God is your maker. He created you for His good purposes. So, why doubt His ability to meet your needs and fix your problems. My dear, cheer up! God loves you. Learn to have faith in Him, stop worrying yourself, trust His promises, determine never to give up on Him, refuse to fear or faint in the face of troubles, and wait patiently for Him. Do not waste your time worrying when you can praise, pray and trust God’s faithfulness. God is willing to help, so do not destroy your life. Look up in faith, surely you will see God. Learn to cast all your worries on Him, because he cares for you. Be wise!
Prayer : Blessed Father, I believe in You therefore, I drop my burdens and pains at Your feet today, amen.
