Verse Of The Day : As righteousness tends to life: so he that pursues evil pursues it to his own death. Proverbs 11:19

THOUGHT OF THE DAY : It is not a waste of time to invest in righteousness or a gain to invest in wickedness. Evil may be sweet in the beginning, but in the end it hurts.

LISTEN : “Hate evil at all costs.” Says a man to his son. His son asked, “Daddy why?” “Evil begins with ‘pleasure’ and ends with pressure. It begins with laughter and ends with weeping. Son, avoid it for it will consume you.” Says his father. My dear, watch it! Evil is often very enticing and seems irresistible; as a result, lots of people fall cheaply to the tricks of the devil. When the devil desires to destroy anyone, he dangles before him the “bait of pleasure.” It is this so-called pleasure that people think they will enjoy, that makes them do evil and damn the consequences. The truth is, a pleasure trip with Satan is a journey to the land of no return. Therefore, before you consider making a trip with the devil, remember that the path of evil is full of deceit and deceit leads to destruction. What then is evil? Evil, in a general sense, is the opposite or absence of good; profound wickedness. Friend, avoid evil. Evil decives and derails good intentions. Anytime you accept to do the bidding of Satan you have just been deceived. Yes, evil hurts in the end. It may be sweet in the beginning, but in the end it hurts. It will hurt both you and people around you. So, when you think of committing evil, also think of the corresponding consequences. In the end, the bitterness of evil will always bury the sweetness of it. Besides, evil ruins destiny and brings trouble and death in the end. Destinies are marred by evil. The future will be ruined where evil reigns. Yes, those who enjoy evil despise their future. Evil creates a road block on the road to real success. My dear, you cannot excel with evil. No doubt, evil can take you on a pleasure trip, but cannot bring you back in one piece. (Genesis 49:3-4). Therefore, remember that no matter one’s cleverness and scheming ability, a sinner will not go unpunished (Proverbs 11:21). So, hate evil with passion and you will live. Be wise!

Bible Verse : I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work. John 9:4

LISTEN : God’s work is meant for everyone. God created us all and should be served and worshipped by all. Besides, now is the right time to do His work. Now is the right time to work for Him and pursue His purpose. My dear, we all owe our lives to God. Therefore, our top priority should be to please Him always. (Matthew 6:33). We can work together with God to fulfill His purposes in the earth. We should fulfill our own purposes through God’s eternal purpose. Beloved, you are created to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. And this you must do with urgency because we all have limited time in the earth. You should discover why God created you and how to fulfill that purpose. Jesus said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.” (John 9:4). Like Jesus Christ, you should know your purpose of existence – you are created to serve God’s purpose. And the purpose of God for your life is to do His will and faithfully spread the good news of His kingdom to the world. So, pursue the will of God and fulfill His purpose for your life, because you do not have all the time in the world. Be wise!

Prayer : Heavenly Father, I know that, I am created to do your will. Therefore, help me to serve you for the rest of my life, in Jesus’ name, amen!
