Verse Of The Day : The one who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps his life from troubles. Proverbs 21:23

LISTEN : Lots of people talk or act before they think. This is why they often found themselves in avoidable troubles. They don’t watch over their mouth. Sadly, he who is careless with his mouth ends up crushing his own life with his mouth. My dear, watch your words to save your life. Watch what you say about others and situations around you. You could harm or heal yourself by your words (Proverbs 21:23). Words are powerful! There effects come in two ways. They can both destroy and build. They can cause heartbreak and heartmend; can cause anger and also pacify anger; can bring shame and provoke glory; can encourage and also discourage. The list goes on and on. Depending on how words are used, life could be made or marred (Proverbs 18:21). Our words are products of our thoughts. Good thoughts is expressed by good words and actions; and bad words are products of bad thoughts. We meet people and situations on a daily basis, and we are often tempted to say negative things about them. However, as a wise person, you should study to guard your mouth if you know your words would cause damage instead of bringing solutions to problems. My dear, keep your mouth and you will save your life. Determine to always think and speak positively about people and situations. What you say about people or situations will determine how you will feel about them. Speaking positively about people or situations will keep you positive no matter what. When you are positive about people and situations you will save yourself some heart breaks. Beloved, to stay positive, always think and speak positively about people and situations. So, remember to think before you act or talk. Be wise!

TOPIC : DO YOU KNOW GOD LOVES YOU?

Friday, April 10, 2020

Bible Verse : For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

LISTEN: Do you know that God loves you? My dear, you’re precious to God and that’s why He loves you. As a matter of fact, no one loves you like God does. When the Bible says, “God so loved the world”, it simply means that, God loves us. God’s love for the world (we) took Jesus Christ to the cross. God gave him up willingly for us to be saved. (Romans 8:32). Jesus Christ bore the weight of our sins on the cross because God loves us. God was concerned about us when He puts on Jesus Christ the sin of us all. Jesus died to save and bring us back to God. His death brings us spiritual and bodily healing (Isaiah 53:5). God loves us even when we don’t love Him. In Christ, He gave His all. He loves us in spite of our sins and misdeeds. Hence, it will be unfair to reject his love which He demonstrated in Christ Jesus. His love for us cost Him the very life of His Son, and through Jesus Christ, He gives us assurance of eternal life when we believe and stand with Him to the very end. (John 3:16). What a loving God! Beloved, let’s not undermine the love of God. Instead, let’s love Him heartily and spread His love to the world. Henceforth, determine to love God because He loves you first. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, you’re loving and kind. Therefore, help me to love you for the rest of my life, amen!
