Verse Of The Day: Although a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again… Proverbs 24:16

LISTEN: The tension around the world today as a result of COVID-19 (coronavirus) is practically making a lot of people lose focus. They are no longer focused on their purposes because of fear. To be focused is to direct a great deal of attention, interest, or activity towards a particular aim. Focus is key to great achievements. As a matter of fact, broken focus affects results negatively. The truth is, you can’t achieve much with a broken focus. You’ll certainly be off the track of progress if your focus is broken. So, don’t lose focus of your God-given purpose. Obstacles and challenges can’t stop your progress if you’re determined to make progress. When you fall, your fall can’t be your end because your focus is on God and your goals. No doubt, the journey of life isn’t an easy one, for life is full of ‘ups and downs.’ Joy is often interrupted by sorrow; health by sicknesses and diseases, peace by conflict, crisis and war; successful marriage by divorce or death, wealth by poverty and hardship; security by insecurity, wellness by pain; life by death, strength by weakness, and the list goes on and on. My dear, when you fall, you haven’t come to the end of the road in life. You’re just temporarily passing through the process of life. The Bible says, “… weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalms 30:5). Your troubles are not a mark of your end, but a season in your life. So don’t lose focus, rather remain focused. A time of trouble is not time to be discouraged, heartbroken, depressed or hopeless, but a time to build up your faith in Christ and look on to Him. Beloved, if you keep your eyes on your God-given goals you’ll not be disappointed. The Bible says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” (Romans 10:11). Henceforth, be focused, strong and courageous and pursue your God-given purpose. Remember, a fall is not the end of your life. So, determine to rise if you fall. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalms 55:22

LISTEN: This is a critical time in the history of the world. Virtually all nations of the world have confirmed the presence of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in their territories. There is tension everywhere and people are practically living in fear. My people, let’s take our problems to God. Let’s stop worrying about them and start trusting God instead. Beloved, when you worry, you will be unable to think or act normally. Worrying in the face of trouble makes you grow weak in faith. Besides, your courage will suddenly collapse. So, be strong in faith. If you can grow your faith with the word of God, you can never be a victim of fear and worry. When Abraham was waiting for the child of promise (Isaac), it looks like waiting for an eternity, yet, he had to wait patiently. Not minding his age and that of his wife; he still believes that God is faithful to His word. (Romans 4:20,21). My dear, how strong is your faith? Do you know faith will keep you focused when the road is “rough and narrow.?” A person of faith never stops believing what God has promised. So, cast all your worries on God, because he cares for you. Yes, He does! Never be distracted by circumstances, instead, have faith in God. (Jer 32:17,27). Whatever your situation is, learn to put your trust in God. Even when you can’t trace Him, yet, He is trustworthy. So, look to Him and be strong. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, I thank you because you are a solution provider. Help and sustain me in times of troubles, amen.
