Verse Of The Day : For he will repay everyone according to what that person has done. Romans 2:6
LISTEN : My dear, do you ever consider your actions? Your actions make your reward. What you will get in the long run is determined by what you do daily with your life. Yes, the future will be empty of pleasure and fulfilment if the present is full of carelessness and wastefulness. You cannot expect something better when you invest in evil. Couple of months ago, I told a story about an elderly carpenter from Andres Lara’s book titled, “Inspire The Sleeping Giant Within”. In this story, an elderly carpenter told his contractor of his plans to retire. The contractor asked him to build one more house as a personal favour. The carpenter agreed to do it. But, this time, he did not put his heart into his work; he used cheap materials and bad workmanship. When he finished the house, the contractor came by and told him, “Here is the key to the front door. This house is my gift to you for your years of service.” What a shock! If he had known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently. Now he had to live the rest of his life with the guilt of his actions. My dear, think of yourself as the carpenter. Your actions have consequences. If only we could consider the consequences of our actions, we will be more careful with what we do or say. Our Bible verse says, “For he will repay everyone according to what that person has done.” (Romans 2:6). God will reward us according to our works. So, if you invest in evil, be prepared for harvest of sorrow and shame. And if you invest in goodness and godliness, be prepared for eternal life and bliss (Galatians 6:7; Matthew 16:27). Therefore, don’t be careless in life, rather, examine your actions regularly and stay connected to God. So, never forget to ask, “Do I ever consider my actions? Be wise!

Bible Verse : You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalms 16:11
LISTEN : God gives real blessings and adds no sorrow to it (Proverbs 10:22). The blessings of God is reserved for those who value His presence. God’s presence comes with His blessings. The Bible says, “You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” (Psalms 16:11). My dear, when you delight in the presence of God you will be saved from sin and falsehood of the world, because God will show you the path of life and righteousness. In His presence you will experience unspeakable joy even in moments of troubles and trials. Besides, His presence sets Satan’s captives free. The Bible says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is present, there is freedom.” (2 Corintians 3:17). This means that, to be empty of the presence of God is to be empty of true freedom. Without God freedom is not possible; and where freedom is denied, pain and sorrow will reign. Beloved, learn to value the presence of God and you will receive His blessings. Be wise?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, show me the path of righteousness and life, and help me to walk with you always, amen!
