Verse Of The Day : The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? Psalms 118:6

LISTEN : Fear is a natural response to danger. But faith is developed by hearing the word of God and walking in line with it. When fear comes, the only thing that can truly arrest it is faith in God. Faith in God grows our courage and confidence where darkness and hopelessness abound. Presently the world is going through a time of distress as a result of the dreaded ‘coronavirus.’ What an irony that humans fear disease more than the living God. My dear, you can prevail over situations when God is on your side. When you walk with God fear will disappear. God is Light and light drives away darkness. In the same way, faith drives away fear. Your walk with God will cast away your fears. David said, “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me” (Psalms 118:6). Faith in God gives courage and confidence. When God is with you, no matter what is against you, you will surely prevail. You can’t be crushed or terrified by pestilence or wickedness of men. In a wicked and sin-ridden society, people tend to live in fear as life seems so scary because there are threats to human life. Yet, he who fears the LORD can’t live in fear of men. For he who is already buried inside Christ Jesus, no power can turn him or her into a prey. My dear, when you anchor your hope in God your faith will swallow your fears. David said, “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.Though an host should camp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.” (Psalms 27:2-3). Brethren, let’s put our trust in God and stop the fear. When we fear God we’ll have no need to be scared of anything or anyone. Remember, with God you have nothing to fear. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Psalms 20:7

LISTEN : Beloved, trust in the living God. Yes, God is all and all for those who trust in Him. He’s a solid rock and a place of safety. His name troubles the kingdom of darkness. He is our foundation, strength and stability. My dear, your foundation will determine your stability; and who you follow will determine what follows you. Your victory in battles of life is a function of your source of strength. When your source of strength is weak, your chances of victory is slim. In the same way, when your source of strength is strong and reliable, victory is guaranteed. God is a strong tower. He is a shield and refuge. He is a present help in times of troubles (Psalms 115:11). Those who love and fear Him runs to Him in distress and are saved. He delivers His people from those who seek to destroy them. Beloved, do you trust in the living God? Is He your help in times of troubles? Who do you rely on for deliverance and victory in times of troubles? In our Bible verse David said, ” Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”(Psalms 20:7). My dear, the name of God saves. Therefore, don’t put your trust in anything other than God, for they will fail you; instead, put your trust in the living God. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, I thank you because you are faithful. Therefore, help me to trust in you always, amen!
