Verse Of The Day : He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. Psalms 115:13

LISTEN : The blessing of God is true and gives no sorrow to the beneficiaries. God is rich in blessings, but can’t waste it. He gives His blessings to fulfill His purpose. His blessing travels in the direction of those who fear and love Him. God blesses those who love and fear Him. Age, race, colour, and background are not obstacles to His blessings. If there’s love and fear for Him, He can bless. My dear, no matter the pain and sorrow facing you today. If you can’t compromise on your love and fear for God, He won’t allow you to end as a failure (Romans 10:11). I told a story couple of months ago about a certain slave boy whose family had been enslaved since he was five years old. One day he asked his father, “Father, what is wrong with us? Why are we treated this way by others? When will this suffering be over? Can’t there be a solution to our misery?” His father smiled and said, “Son, all will soon be over. Nothing is impossible to God who created the heavens and the earth. With Him, no one is too young or old to be blessed. No one is too enslaved to be freed. Because we fear God, one day, we shall be free and blessed.” The following year the family was eventually set free and favoured by their slavemaster in many ways as compensation for their years of servitude. Their misery was turned to a miracle. What seemed impossible was divinely made possible. My dear, God can’t abandon those who fear Him. In the Bible, Abraham honoured and obeyed God and was blessed for his obedience and faith in God. (Genesis 24:1). God rewarded his years of faithfulness and obedience to Him. Yes, God can bless anyone including you. So, position yourself for the blessings of God. We are positioned for God’s blessings when we walk in fear, faith and obedience to Him. So, determine to walk in obedience to God and you’ll attract His blessings. Remember, the blessing of God travels in the way of fear and love for Him. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 1 John 3:7

LISTEN : God is righteous and loves righteousness. Besides, He loves the righteous (Psalms 11:7). He is a God of justice and loves those who are just and fair to others. There is no unrighteousness in Him. And He is pleased when we behave in an honest way and maintain high moral standard no matter what. God is honoured when we live to the glory of His name. As children of God we should learn to live a holy life. The LORD our God is righteous in Himself, and in all His ways and works. His righteousness is demonstrated both in visiting and punishing the wicked, and in maintaining the righteous cause of His people. Beloved, righteousness is agreeable to the nature of God: He loves to exercise righteousness in the earth, to administer it to, and among men; this He delights to do. God has given us His righteousness through Christ Jesus. We became righteous through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross (Romans 5:17). Because God is righteous, therefore, let us learn to live in line with His will and be blessed. Remember, there is no unrighteousness in God. Be wise!

Prayer : Heavenly Father, you are righteous and loves righteousness. Therefore, help me to live in line with your will, amen.
