Verse Of The Day : For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

LISTEN : God works on His people to become what they are created to be. He often allows us to go through pains to deliver His good purpose and blessings to us. My dear, as a child of God what you go through most times might just be God trying to refine you and not to ruin you. God can’t start what He does not intend to finish. His works are completed before He starts them. The Bible says, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.” (Isaiah 46:9-10). My dear, you are ‘work in progress’ in God’s plans, and surely He will finish what He begins in you. This means that, you are a project to be completed no matter what. You may not have received the expected attention to your problems or prayers, but the truth is, God will finish what He started in your life. God is the master planner. He is taking His time to beautify you. You will come out great and better when He is done refining you. Please don’t be in a hurry! Forget about the delays, heartbreak, rejections, disappointments, sorrows, etc. you are faced with. Just believe that God is not done with you. No matter what happens, God will not abandon you. He will surely finish what He started in your life. So, be confident in His power ; surrender to His refining process of your life ; and do not write yourself off. Remember, God is refining you and not trying to ruin your life. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Don’t write off yourself just because others wrote you off as a failure.
2. Always remind yourself that, you are a ‘work in progress’ in the hands of God.
3. Hold on to God and believe that, He will not abandon you.
4. Yield yourself completely to God and let Him shape you into His purpose.

Prayer : Heavenly Father, I thank you because I’m safe in your hands. And I’m sure that you will complete what you started in my life. Therefore, help me to yield more and more to you daily, amen!

Reflection : When God seems far away, He will appear closer when faith is involved.

Quote : “When trouble threatens peace of mind, fear makes it looks like God is beyond our reach. But the arrival of faith reveals how close and ready God is to help us.”

Faith Confession : In Jesus’s name, I confess that I am a project in the hands of God. Therefore, I will not be abandoned, amen!

Biblical Fact : Did you know Elizabeth’s pregnancy was already 6 months old when an angel visited Mary? (Luke 1:26).

Today In History : February 28, 1936 The Japanese Army restores order in Tokyo and arrests officers involved in a coup.

Stunning Fact : Did you know the first Lifesaver flavour was peppermint?

A Word Of Blessing : It is well with you. Today I speak on your life, you will not be abandoned. You are henceforth delivered from spirit of delay, rejection, frustration, disappointment, heartbreak, premature death, hardship and sorrow. In Jesus’ name, amen!

Bible Verse : I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work. John 9:4

LISTEN : Time waits for no one. Now is the right time. You may ask, “Time for what?” The answer is, time to work for God and pursue His purpose. My dear, we all owe our lives to God. Therefore, our top priority should be to please Him always. (Matthew 6:33). We can work together with God to fulfill His purposes in the earth. We should fulfill our own purposes through God’s eternal purpose. Beloved, you are created to fulfill God’s purpose for your life. And this you must do with urgency because we all have limited time in the earth. You should discover why God created you and how to fulfill that purpose. Jesus said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.” (John 9:4). Like Jesus Christ, you should know your purpose of existence – you are created to serve God’s purpose. And the purpose of God for your life is to do His will and faithfully spread the good news of His kingdom to the world. So, pursue the will of God and fulfill His purpose for your life, because you do not have all the time in the world. Be wise!

Prayer : Heavenly Father, I know that, I am created to do your will. Therefore, help me to serve you for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen!

  1. This is so good! I am currently having trouble accepting why God allows people to be so hurtful or how people can so easily hurt others. It’s funny bc I know there’s a reason for it, it’s just hard to accept. Thank you for a lovely reminder. Blessings!
