Verse Of The Day : For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7

LISTEN : Faith is the cure for spirit of fear. And the power of faith is the word of God. In the face of true faith, fear is powerless. Yes, where faith abounds fear never survives. My dear, be strong and courageous. You can overcome fear by faith. When you walk by faith, fear will suffocate and die in your life. Where faith is enthroned fear will be enslaved. The reign of faith creates terror in the kingdom of fear. Beloved, until you enthrone the Spirit of God in your heart fear will continue to torment your life. Beloved, walk by faith and you’ll not doubt what God says about you. The truth is, until you believe what God says about you, you’ll walk in fear, be intimidated and tormented by the devil all your life. Thankfully, we have been greatly empowered to overcome fear by the power of God, love and self-control. The Bible says, “For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.” (2 Timothy 1:7). My dear, God has blessed us with His Spirit to live boldly and overcome this wicked world. Spirit of fear is not part of what we received from God. We are designed to be very confident and fearless before danger, and to trust in the ever living and faithful God. Yes, we have divine authority to trample on the devil and his agents. We should have control over our feelings and actions and walk within what God approves. Beloved, faith is vital to our survival in this life. Trust me, the devil and circumstances of life will ruin our lives if we choose to be empty of faith, courage, power, Love and self-control. So, embrace the word of God today and your life won’t be ruined by Satan and circumstances of life. Remember, faith is the cure for the spirit of fear. Be wise!

Bible Verse : The one who is gracious to the poor lends to the LORD, and the LORD will repay him for his good deed. Proverbs 19:17 (NET)

LISTEN : Beloved, do you consider the poor just as God does? God wants you to be compassionate to the needy. And He is not ignorant of your kindness to the poor and needy. What you do to them you’ve done it to God. The Bible says that the poor won’t cease in the land (Deut 15:11), therefore, they should be graciously assisted. We should show some pity to those who are destitute and hurting. We should give to others to relieve their pain and stress. God has variously shown us His favours. Therefore, we should extend same to others. We should stop being selfish and begin to be sacrificial. My dear, the day you stop to live just for yourself is the day you have started to live for God. So, learn to always consider the poor and needy. God is concerned about them, and so should we. Give to others what you will want them give to you. Jesus Christ said, “In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfill the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 7:12). Beloved, how would you like others to treat you? Treat them like that too. Be compassionate to the poor, for what you do for them you do to God. So, let’s help those who are in need as we have the opportunity today. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, help me to love and help the poor and needy, amen.
