Verse Of The Day : Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41

LISTEN : A member of a certain denomination, after a prayer meeting went to the pastor’s office and asked him. “Sir, is prayer really necessary to the believer’s success? Should we pray or neglect to pray? Does it really matter if we don’t pray? Can’t we grow in faith without prayer?” His pastor replied and said, “Brother, if Jesus Christ our Master couldn’t do anything without prayer, then, it is suicidal to neglect to pray as a Christian.” My dear, prayer is necessary to us who believe in Christ Jesus. You can’t do without it. What then is prayer? Prayer simply means, a practice of communicating with one’s God; a petition; a request. When we pray, we are communicating and interacting with God. Prayer can happen spontaneously, or in organized and unorganised form. It could be done by an individual believer or a company of believers. However it is done, the important thing is that, prayer is necessary for a successful walk with God. Prayer is a vital part of the Christian faith. Jesus said to his disciples, Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matt 26:41). My dear, it’s not to your advantage to neglect to pray. For you will suffocate in battles of life without prayer. So, continue to watch and pray, for prayer connects you to God. You may not reach God with your legs, but you can reach Him with your knees. When you pray genuinely, you’ll surely connect heaven (Acts 4:31). 3). Besides, prayer brings God into the believer’s situation. Yes, you can’t be abandoned by God if you can’t abandon to pray. Therefore, to see God, pray and keep praying. Be wise!

Bible Verse : But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19

LISTEN: God gives us everything to enjoy. He supplies our needs. It is not just our efforts that make us what we are today, it is the grace of God. God feeds His people and supplies their needs. He knows our needs and will always provide for us. My dear, no matter the situation, God will not leave you destitute, He will surely provides for you. He has given us the assurance of divine provision. Therefore, if we can ask Him for our needs, He will supply us with the necessary provisions. (Matthew 7:7,8). So, you must learn to trust Him with your daily needs and be confident that He will not forsake you. His supply includes all our needs, not just some needs. God is the source of all good gifts and provisions. (James 1:17). So, stop worrying about what to eat, drink or wear, instead, trust God to honour the works of your hands. He will surely bless you with divine provisions. Henceforth, do what you can and allow God to do what you can’t. Remember, God provides our needs. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you because you are my provider. Therefore, I look onto you for my daily bread, amen!
