Verse Of The Day : … but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. Daniel 11:32

LISTEN : God is powerful, and His children (we) are clothed with same nature. However, it is difficult to operate on the frequency of divine power without a quality relationship with God. You can’t be strong in God until you are acquainted with Him. How much you know God will determine how far you’re prepared to go for or with Him. Those who know God less are usually frustrated and powerless in the face of confrontation, trials, persecution and the like. They’re strangers to the power of God. My dear, the pressure we children of God go through in the world will either result in staying dedicated to God, or renouncing Him. Those who are not strong and committed will renounce God when the going gets tough. The truth is, no person can stand pressure in the name of God when he or she is chicken-hearted. We need to be determine and dogged to be the kind of people God wants us to be for His kingdom. My dear, you’re to be on fire for God. What does it mean to be on fire for God? It means to sustain one’s commitment and dedication to God (Daniel 3:16-18); to keep burning the incense of prayer; to do exploits for God and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ with passion (see Acts 8:1-8,40). But what creates the atmosphere of being on fire for God? The atmosphere for being on fire for God is created through love and fear of God; spiritual knowledge; self-discipline; right association, etc. My dear, God wants you to be on fire for Him. So, strive to catch this fire now and always; for this is the time to offer your best to God. Beloved, when you’re on fire for God you can’t stop burning for Him. Be wise!

Bible Verse : And he says unto them follow me and I will make you fishers of men Matt 4:19

LISTEN : We are called to save life not to destroy it. My dear, are you doing your God-given assignment? Or have you forgotten you are called to save the lost for Christ. Yes, we are called to proclaim the good news of the kingdom. As Jesus Christ begins His earthly ministry shortly after He ended his forty days fast in the wilderness. He encountered two brothers at the sea of Galilee, Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother as they were doing their normal fishing business, for they were fishermen. He said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men” (v.19). Beloved, Jesus called them so He could train them in winning souls to the kingdom of God. Upon hearing Him, they left all and followed Him. Jesus transformed them into useful instruments for the kingdom of God. He (Jesus) made them both earthly and heavenly useful. He changed them from fishermen to soul winners; not just soul winners, but determined soul winners who understood that time is too short and sinners must be saved to God. My dear, are you a Christian? Have you won a soul to God? If not, what are you waiting for? Do you know you are called to spread the gospel of the kingdom of God? So, be serious in the service of God. Your reward awaits you at His coming. (Hebrews 6:10). Remember, you are called to save life not to ruin it. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear LORD, I thank you for your word today. Help me to spread the gospel of your kingdom as long as I live, amen!
