Verse Of The Day : Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20

LISTEN : Let Jesus Christ into your life. Life is not complete without a relationship with God. Of what use is the body without the spirit? The spirit is the life of the body. In the same way, God is the source of our existence; hence, to exist without Him is to be empty of real life. My dear, let Jesus Christ into your life for we have no life without Him. A Christian woman asks her son this question, “Son, if Jesus Christ practically comes knocking on your door now, what will you do?” Her son replied, “Mother, I will gladly open my door to Him and leave it open even after He has gone.” My dear, in the same way, you should gladly receive Jesus into your heart. Your heart is the doorway to your life. This is why the Bible is concerned about the state of our hearts. What happens in your heart can affect your life positively or negatively. We should be conscious of what goes on in our hearts. The Bible says, “Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23). My dear, Jesus Christ is standing and knocking at the door of your heart. But one thing is certain, He is not going to stand and knock forever. Either you open your heart now and receive Him, or harden your heart and reject His words and perish later on. Never forget that, anyone who cannot hear the voice of God and open his or her heart to Him has chosen to perish. Beloved, open your heart to God. He wants to come into your life and abide with you. He wants to bless you both in this life and eternity. So, do not delay anymore, rather say yes to Him today. Be wise!

Having read today’s devotional, what is expected of you?
1. Never harden your heart to Jesus Christ, rather let Him in.

3. Take pleasure in the word of God and know that God is waiting for you to let Him in.

Bible Verse : For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

LISTEN: God’s love is unmatchable. What is life without love? A life without love is an expression of a life without God. God is a God of love and God is love (1John 4:8). He expressed His love by given His son Jesus Christ for us. God’s love for the world took Jesus Christ to the cross. He gave him up willingly for us to be saved. (Romans 8:32). Jesus Christ bore the weight of our sins on the cross because God loves us. He died to save and bring us back to God. His death brings us spiritual and bodily healing (Isaiah 53:5). What a privilege! God loves us even when we rejected and hated Him; because He is not like human, He loves even the unlovable. The love of God is agape – the God kind of love. God’s kind of love bothers itself with the welfare of others and care to assist unconditionally. The truth is, in Christ, God gave His all. He loved us and still loves us in spite of our sins and misdeeds. Hence, it will be unfair to reject his love which He demonstrated in Christ Jesus. His love for us cost Him the very life of His Son, and through Jesus Christ, He gives us assurance of eternal life when we believe and stand with Him to the very end. My dear, Jesus Christ died because He loves us, therefore, we should love God because Jesus Christ died for us. Be wise!

Prayer : Dear Lord, I thank you for your love is uncommon. Help me to reciprocate your love, amen.
