Verse Of The Day : Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all. Psalms 34:19

LISTEN : He who walks in faith will surely overcome trials and afflictions. Yes, trouble may come, but deliverance is sure. Couple of months ago. I told a story about a new convert in a certain church who asked his pastor and said, “Pastor, now that I am born again and belongs to God, am I not exempted from troubles of life? Will God not keep me from having troubles?” The pastor looked at him and smiled and said, “My brother, being a Christian doesn’t exempt you from troubles of life. Troubles will come, but God promises to deliver you at all times. All you need to do is trust Him. Okay?” My dear, this piece of advice is for everyone of us. no one is immune to problems of life. Everyone has a fair share of them (Job 14:1). The righteous (children of God who are bought by the blood of Jesus Christ) are no exception to that. As a matter of fact, they share greatly in the troubles of life because of their faith. Our Bible verse says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” (Psalms 34:19). The love and mercy of God for the righteous are greater than the weight of trouble upon them. His loving hands are never weak to lift them up from the dust anytime they fall. No matter the weight and amount of affliction they are faced with, the grace of God is sufficient to give them victory. The righteous are the beloved of God therefore, God will not leave them to suffer shame and endless humiliation. No matter how many times they might face trials, God will deliver them time and time again. What a wonderful promise from a loving God! Beloved, whom the LORD loves He saves; and whom He saves He protects. So, if you are a child of God, don’t bother yourself about your problems, rather, believe that, no matter the number of times you may face trials, God will deliver you time and time again. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD. Psalms 31:24

LISTEN : Beloved, be strong and courageous always. Don’t allow any situation in your life to turn you into a weakling. No doubt, life is full of situations that often cause fear and heartbreak. However, those who are strong and courageous don’t give in or give up no matter what. They overcome their problems in spite of frustrations, challenges, or oppositions confronting them. My dear, no one can achieve anything worthwhile without courage and inner strength to combat challenges. God wants us to be strong and courageous, He does not want us to quit our God-given pursuit for any reason. In life, fear may come, our lives may be threatened, we may have no one else left on our side, but courage and faith in God can still give us the victory. So, be strong and courageous; for victory is possible to anyone who is courageous and full of faith. Be wise!

Prayer Dear Lord, I thank you because you are my God. Therefore, help me to always be strong and courageous, in Jesus’ name, amen!
