Author : Bishop Julius Okarike

Verse Of The Day : Though he stumbles, he will not fall down flat, for the LORD will hold up his hand. Psalms 37:24 (ISV).

LISTEN : God sustains those who trust in Him. (Psalms 37:40; 91:14). He helps them up when they fall. When they fail, He makes a way of recovery for them. My dear, Failure is not the end of the road to your quest for success. It doesn’t mean you are a failure either; rather, it shows that, you have not yet discovered what to do to overcome failure. So, don’t give up when you fail, for God will help you succeed if you have faith in Him. Beloved, try to meet success and failure with the same dignity. Yes, when you can meet success and failure with the same dignity, then you are spiritually mature. It takes maturity to know that, failure is a stepping stone to success. Failure doesn’t stop success, rather it triggers it. Every success story is accompanied by a failure story. If you are sincere enough, you will agree with me that, when growing up as a child, you failed in many ways until you were able to master certain things. Today, you still fail in some aspects of life; yet, such failure couldn’t stop your success. Failure gives us the opportunity to appreciate success, just as we come to appreciate sweetness after tasting bitterness. The truth is, if there is a sincere desire for success, failure will open your eyes to how not to succeed, and adjust your mind to how to succeed. So, don’t fail because you failed; rather, determine to succeed because failure has taught you what to avoid or do to succeed. Never give up when you fail, instead appreciate failure. See failure as part of your journey to success. No matter what, determine to turn your failure to success and make your success more successful. So, always keep up with the time. Create success through success. That is, don’t rely on the victory or success of yesterday; rather, keep going for success, for there is room for more. Henceforth, do not give up if you fail. Be wise!

Bible Verse : When I am afraid, I will trust in you. Psalms 56:3

LISTEN : Faith kills fear. When your faith grows victory grows. My dear, you will not cease to be afraid of circumstances of life until you are ready to put your faith in God. Faith in God is the antidote to fear. In the midst of situations that threatens your peace and joy, and possibly your life, faith in God can keep you courageous, strong and hopeful. My dear, you can’t end your fears until you are prepared to grow your faith. Fear will end when faith grows. Faith alone has the power to kill your fears. George Muller, a Christian Evangelist said, “The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety”. Beloved, are you afraid? Have you ceased to trust in God? Has fear eaten deep into your heart? Wake up! Don’t be a slave to fear when you can gain your freedom through faith. So, increase your faith by the word of God and remember that, faith in God is the cure for fear. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting Father, I thank you for your word today. Help me to fight my fears with faith in you, amen.
