Verse Of The Day : …for the joy that was set before him, he endured the Cross, despising the shame and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God Hebrews 12:2
LISTEN: A great dancer was asked the secret of his great dance skill. He said, “When I was learning the art of dancing, people do laugh at my mistakes, but I chose to ignore the shame. Now I’m a professional dancer.” My dear, what are you created to do? What is your God-given purpose in life? Are you attempting to quit trying because of critics? Are you giving up because of obstacles and oppositions? Please don’t give up. Keep pushing; you are almost there (Hebrews 10:38). Don’t forget that, joy is hidden inside the womb of pain, and a crown is a product of a cross. Therefore, fix your eyes on what God has prepared for you and not on the attacks on your way to success. People will talk you down just to stop you, so, resist it. My dear, be strong. Wherever joy is found pain has been there. The two are inseparable, and one will give way to the other at the right time. Yes, pain will give way to joy if you will keep pushing until you get to your God-ordained destination. In his moment of agony on the cross, Jesus Christ fixed his eyes on the glorious future that was waiting for Him after His horrible experience on the cross. He didn’t allow His suffering to distract Him, instead, He believed that, His suffering was just for a moment; and after that, joy will come. He will return to the glory that He once shared with the Father. Jesus Christ surrendered fully to the pain and sorrow of the cross; and in His resurrection, pain and sorrow surrendered fully to His authority. In the same way, our sufferings and trials are momentary. If we don’t give up, joy will come eventually and sorrow and pain will bow to our victory. The Bible says, “… weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalms 30:5). Beloved, this is not time to give up, but time to press on. It is not time to be ashamed of yourself, but time to ignore every shame and mockery. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Above all, keep your love for one another fervent, because love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8.
LISTEN : It is impossible to genuinely love and not forgive. And it is not possible to freely forgive others when you don’t grow in love. Love is the cure for all manner of offences. Beloved, love heals all wounds, soothes all pains and cover multitude of sins. Love is powerful, and more powerful than you think. The Bible says “Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up. It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful. It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1Cornthians 13:4-7). My dear, when you are offended, remember that love heals, then try it. When someone hurts you badly, rather than respond with same evil, learn to listen to the healing voice of love. When you try love, you will not have any need for revenge because forgiveness would have swallowed up the desire for vengeance. Beloved, remember to grow in love and you will grow in forgiveness. Be wise!
Prayer : Mighty and Everlasting God. Help me to grow in love and forgiveness to others, in Jesus’ name, amen!
