Verse Of The Day : For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he ponders all his activities. Proverbs 5:21

LISTEN : God sees all secrets. He sees what everyone does. He watches us from heaven and sees even the deepest of mysteries. As a matter of fact, our deeds are not hidden from His sight (Psalms 139:7-12). Therefore, whatever you do, be conscious of the presence of God. Always remember that, when no one sees your evil or good deeds, God can see all. His eyes runs through the whole earth, and anyone who understands this fact is careful with what he or she does. A story is told of a thief who was going out to steal and took his little boy along with him. When they got to the place he wants to commit the crime, he said to his son, “Son, please remain here and watch for me. Make sure your eyes are everywhere, and if you see anyone coming, please rush immediately and inform me so I could hide myself or escape.” After watching for a while, his son rushed to meet him. And the man was frightened and therefore asked, “Son, who did you see?” The son replied, “Daddy, I didn’t see anyone. You said I should watch the north, south, west and east of this place while you steal. I’ve been watching front, back, right and left. But what about heaven? Is someone not watching us from there?” The thief was shocked by his son’s words. And immediately stopped to steal. My dear, God is watching everything you do whether good or bad. He’ll reward good people and punish the wicked at the right time. Therefore, mind what you do. For if you’re mindful of what you do, you won’t regret your actions. Remember, God sees all secrets. Be wise!

Bible Verse : Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. John 3:7

LISTEN : He who claims to love God demonstrates it by expressing the nature of God. Righteousness is God’s nature. God is righteous and righteousness gives birth to righteousness. Our God is righteous and loves righteousness and the righteous (Psalms 11:7). He is a God of justice and loves those who are just and fair to others. There is no unrighteousness in Him. And He is pleased when we behave in an honest way and maintain high moral standard no matter what. God is honoured when we live to the glory of His name. As children of God we should learn to live a holy life. The LORD our God is righteous in Himself, and in all His ways and works. His righteousness is demonstrated both in visiting and punishing the wicked, and in maintaining the righteous cause of His people. Beloved, righteousness is agreeable to the nature of God: He loves to exercise righteousness in the earth, to administer it to, and among men; this He delights to do. God has given us His righteousness through Christ Jesus. We became righteous through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross (Romans 5:17). Because God is righteous, therefore, let us learn to live in line with His will and be blessed. Be wise!

Prayer : Everlasting God, you are righteous and loves righteousness. Therefore, help me to be faithful and holy to you, in Jesus’ name, amen!
